I have sold property by auction before but this was the first time using First for Auctions. I was explained the process by Daniel clearly so was aware of the costs etc and how it all worked. The advice I received from Daniel was excellent from pitching the initial price and managing expectations. In the end we sold the property for more than we expected so that was an added bonus.

I highly recommend First for Auctions. Alex was supremely helpful from beginning to end. When I approached them to put the properties on the market , Alex pulled out all the stops to get it ready for the next auction. Communication was seamless both by email, text and telephone conversations. Following the sale, he kept me up-to-date and even when a few glitches appeared with the buyer he was super helpful getting things resolved to the best of his ability. We just completed today! Quite a complex and niche sale for a flat in Reading. The service we received from Sam Bailey and Amber Da-San Martino was superb. From the start they were very responsive and you did not have to remind them. Kept me posted on the interest level and gave me good advice on price, that was based on sound market knowledge and not emotion. Glad we built trust and I listened. If Sam was out Amber would deal with my questions. They are a good team. I think we got very good service, albeit a bit more costly than a normal sale, but it was fast and they got the job done without too much buyers malarky. I really enjoyed dealing with them both, very professional and conscientious.

I can't recommend First for Auctions highly enough - Gareth was fantastic from start to finish. I was put in touch with him following a conversation with an estate agent who advised that sale by auction was the only way forward for my flat. Gareth clearly explained the process and was very thorough in his appraisal of the property. Comms were great throughout and I'm so grateful that he made everything as stress free as possible. I can't really fault my experience with First for Auctions. When we initially put my mother's house up for sale I had a chat with Daniel Gale to get an understanding of the auctions process. Selling through a high-street agent didn't work so I talked it through with Daniel again, we came up with a plan for the auction, the house then sold at the first attempt for a good price, and from there the communication from Daniel and his team was clear and straightforward to get the sale completed. AVOID! First4Auctions systems are flawed. Jumped through all their hoops, ID, proof of funds etc and while I had everything confirmed my side, the website said I couldn't bid. So annoyed - spent a lot of time, energy and money analysing a property only to find I couldn't bid.

I would highly recommend First for Auctions. I live overseas, 12,000 miles and 9hrs time difference which was not an issue. Daniel and his team did an amazing job of selling the house which is part of a Probate Estate. As soon as we were able to sell the house the photographs and marketing was up in days. Daniel provided excellent advice in a timely manner, kept me updated weekly via email and on the day of auction was in contact to guide us through the process.
