About Bowes Mitchell (Lettings) Benton

Bowes Mitchell Estate Agents have been successfully selling and letting properties for more than 25 years’ in and around Heaton (NE6), High Heaton, Benton (NE7), Longbenton, Killingworth and Forest Hall (NE12) as well as surrounding areas of Newcastle upon Tyne and Northumberland. We are a locally owned family-run business all of whom have a minimum of 10 years experience and knowledge of these areas. We endeavour to provide the very best customer service, a key part to our success since 1994. With property sales across the region we have a successful track record in marketing homes irrespective of their location. Continuity plays an important part in getting you moved and every member of the team have worked for the company for over 10 years, some for almost 25! As well as continuity, technology is equally as important to our approach and while our roots are in our local community our reach is far wider than your traditional local estate agent. Thinking of Selling, Buying, Letting or just require some initial advice please get in touch with us by email, telephone or social media; we'd love to hear from you.

We have had a great, professional, customer centric, engagement with Bowes Mitchel in the selling of our house in Longbenton, Newcastle. We had the double challenges of selling a property during the Covid pandemic and in an area 100 miles from where we now live. Clare Massner guided and advised us through the process, going the extra mile on several occasions, well supported by Michael Clark and Claire Wakeling. The team helped us with every step, even getting our electric meter door replaced and having the house cleared. All with a friendly attitude. Big big thanks.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Bowes Mitchell were the agent I purchased from 3 years ago and it was an easy choice to appoint them to sell the house as my experience as a buyer was very positive. Claire worked hard to secure an offer over and above the asking price. She offered clear advice when it came to selecting a buyer as I had multiple offers to choose from. I cannot fault the service received from Michael who handles the sale from offer to completion. His knowledge of the houses in the area is priceless. I had a very nervous buyer and Michael definitely saved the day on several occasions as he was able to help translate some of the technical jargon in the surveyors report to my buyer. He never made me feel like a nuisance and reduced my stress levels ten-fold! I looked at using one of the online estate agents but am so glad I didn’t now. The support throughout the process was worth every penny and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Bowes Mitchell again!PositiveQuality, Value

Update after five years: I've been living in rented houses for more than 20 years and I'm actually happy paying rent to these folks. Problems get fixed (we haven't had many problems), they communicate well, and more or less let us get on with living our lives.

A fantastic service all round especially from Lynn and Michael. As a first time buyer I was very nervous I would make mistakes. The team was able to help me every step of the way and explained the step by step process. I also asked a lot of questions which they were very happy to answer for me. I would definitely recommend Bowes Mitchell to friends and family and hopefully be able to use them in the future. Massive thank you to all.

This is the best Estate Agents with whom I have dealt. Happily I chose Bowes Mitchell to find me an excellent rental property last year. Clare and Emma on the rentals team found me a lovely quiet property near to my work. During my stay nothing was too much trouble. After 2 disappointing previous rentals through other estate agents I can honestly say that Bowes Mitchell are the best in the North East. Giving the above Bowes Mitchell also advertised the property I have just bought. Claire, Michael and Lynn on the sales team are extremely honest, professional and very lovely to deal with. They found me my ideal property and despite the difficulties of the seller being in another country they made everything as easy as possible. A truly excellent business run by lovely people. I'm very pleased I walked into their offices in August 2019...they have found me 2 excellent properties. Keep doing what you do...you are fabulous Stephen Anderson

If I could give more stars I would. Fantastic service from all, at Bowes Mitchell. Especially from Michael and lynn. They go above and beyond. I can honestly say they were excellent from start to finish. We were always informed of any new information very promptly. All of the team was always happy and cheerful and even though we could be on the phone two to three times. I was always greeted with a happy phone call. I’m now looking for an excuse to call them up just for a quick chit chat. I will be recommending Bowes Mitchell to friends and family as they really do provide a five star service.

I would like to say a BIG thank you to the team at Bowes Mitchell Estate agents at Benton Four Lane Ends. We put our house on the market this month and We accepted an offer for full asking price five days later. To say we are pleased is an understatement. Let’s hope the rest of the sale goes as quickly and smoothly We sold our last house with Bowes Mitchell 19 years ago for full asking price and sold in less than a week. They are absolute stars. Would definitely recommend this estate agent if you are thinking of selling your property

Bowes Mitchell were amazing for both our sale and purchase. From the second Claire came to value our property I trusted her implicitly to price our house right and get buyers through the door and our house sold in 3 days! She also found us our dream home and helped us secure it. She understood exactly what we needed and helped us to get it. Alongside Lyn and Michael, Bowes Mitchell fully supported both our sale and purchase and we are very happy in our new home! They also recommended a brilliant solicitor who was also superb throughout. Couldn't recommend enough!

Great agents, worked quickly and professionally to produce a good profile of my property and then successfully received offers on the property within a short time frame. I put the success of this down to Clare, Owen and Kate’s enthusiasm and ability to communicate well with all parties. Thanks

I highly recommend Bowes Mitchell Estate Agents at Benton Four Lane Ends. The staff are so friendly and helpful and keep you informed of the selling process. Clare originally sold my Mam’s house and helped me through a very stressful time. More recently Clare has sold my house (Michael taking the photos) and received the asking price within a couple of days. I have now moved out of the North East to be nearer to family but contact will still be made to these two special people. Thank you for your friendly excellent service and wish everyone good luck for the future.

After being quoted over double the price by Pattinson's I didn't know what to expect when I signed with Bowes Mitchell. I shouldnt have worried everybody from Craig in the office to Clair in the field have been fantastic. It only took them 3 days to find a buyer and beat the asking price. Cheap, professional and efficient what more could you ask for?PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
