GoogleOn the 4th of January, I saw a 2-bed apartment has been advertised at the long Benton area. I have rung the Bowen Mitchell in the morning to ask if I can view it. The staffs (I am not going to name her, but I will call her the women although her behaviour is very unprofessional) told me she needs to contact the tenant about the viewing hours the tenant is available. In the afternoon on 5th January, I made 2 calls to chase up to see if there is any update. The woman tells me that she will contact me when she gets the answer from the tenant and assure me, I am on the waiting list. I make another call on the 6th January, asking her if I can get an update today. She told me that she will ring me when she got the keys this time (instead of informing me the tenant availability). I decided stop giving her calls as I was told that she will contact me, but I have found out (on the website and no calls from her) today (11th January) it has been let agreed. I would expect an honest respond from her instead of her claiming I am at the bottom of the waiting lists when I ring in 30 minutes after the listings is uploaded on the letting’s website. I understand that on the current market the renting business is busy and if I was told that the bedroom is on the lists on other tenants, I will be totally okay with it, but she chooses to tell me she will give me a call and hold me on the side like an idiot. This is definitely a disappointed experience and unprofessional. I have been dealing with other agency with renting and I never had this problem- they will update me and be HONEST on every situation.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I am sorry, Lettings properties are being let very quickly and access was difficult. We are sorry we did not respond to you to view but one of our current tenants who were given notice on their property moved in so we didn't contact anyone. . We are sorry you were disappointed.

GoogleAfter what ended up being a rigmarole of a house purchase, the blame of which lies entirely on my solicitors (they were useless at a) doing things and b) picking up the phone), Clare and Michael at Bowes Mitchell were incredible patient and responsive. They helped us with the initial property viewing and answered all of my questions in a knowledgeable manner, and now that it is purchased, they have helped supply me with the names of some trusted local contractors to help with our renovations. Very polite and extremely knowledgeable, which gave me confidence as I’m new to this. Came out second time took pictures and I was online within 24 hours. An offer was made. No stress at all and very reasonable compared to others. They kept me up to date all the way through. GoogleDespite an incredibly long process, Michael and Claire couldn't have been more helpful. At the initial point of sale, Claire brought energy and enthusiasm and helped us sell the house for well over our asking price in just two days, with 10 viewings booked within an hour of the listing going live. Following that, Michael worked as a middle man between us, the buyers and the solicitors, and was always on hand to help when required, despite my constant frustration throughout the process. His help continued right up until the point of completion, and I could not recommend him more highly. GoogleThe team at Northwoods Bowes Mitchell were proactive, friendly and professional. Claire undertook a visit to my property , where she came fully prepared and offered to advertise my property the following day. Within the a day I had multiples requests to view the property, and within a week I had sold STC. The team have been very helpful throughout the journey of my sale to completion, and are always willing to help with any queries or concerns.
