GoogleExtremely frustrating experience waiting on Property People to respond to TDS in order to return my deposit. After moving out in 31st October I am still waiting for Property People to confirm the amount requested despite several emails confirming they will do so. So frustrating after a good experience renting but this negligent behaviour has left a bitter aftertaste. *in response to owner reply* Property People have not responded to the TDS it is still ongoing after three months. The property inspection was completed in two days as I moved out on the 30th October and a new tenant moved in on the 1st November. The claim is still open and I am still waiting on property people to amend their mistaken request. TDS tried to get confirmation from property people and surprise surprise got no responses. If only you were as quick to reply to emails as you are to negative google reviews.NegativeResponsiveness
Hi Adam, We are sorry you found your wait frustrating. We returned your deposit with in 28 days after your move out date, as discussed. We complete a move out inspection and report once keys are returned, unfortunately this does take time due to the amount of move outs we do, however we follow TDS guidelines and return all deposits with in 28 days from the move out date. I’m glad to hear you had a good renting experience and we hope to improve the time frame of deposit returns.

GoogleAt the start it was all good, but then as i was there longer, i realised that they do not care about repairs, they do not care about tenants (shared house) that cause a nuisance by having partys smoking and drinking in the house every single weekend, they do not care as long as theyre getting rent paid i would avoid this place at all costs! And just a side not you will be charged £10 cleaning fee regardless of weather you left the place clean or not! NO NOT RENT SHARED ACCOMMODATION OFF THESE PEOPLE!!

GoogleFirst time renting with property People. I spoke with a lovely girl I think her name was niamh, she was so accommodating when I was working full time and arranging a visit to the house. She had a good understanding and knowledge of the house, area and the other tennents I would be moving in with. She was so prompt with all the paperwork and nothing was too much trouble for her and reassured me that if there any issues or concerns to contact her. GoogleOrganised multiple viewings through this company. First viewing no one turned up and 10 minutes after the scheduled time waiting in the rain we phoned them up to be informed that the viewing was cancelled. They supposedly left a voicemail but there was none so we confirmed the number with them and left. We thought mistakes happen and went to the second viewing. 10 minutes go by without anyone turning up and we once again phone to be told it’s cancelled. Asked why they didn't inform us and the person on the phone told us “that’s just the way it is” and that nothing he would do. Complete and utter waste of time. A few of us had taken time of work to try and view these houses and were told tough luck with no notice. Complete disrespect for potential applicants and no help what so ever. Would not recommend at all.

GoogleHad a very good experience with Property People South & East office, I infact remember arriving as a student a few years and one of their staff helping me co-ordinate a payment from back in my country. I rented with them in Stranmillis, though there were problems occasionally with the appliances, they helped get them resolved promptly. Their service was great. The stay was hassle free and I would recommend their service!

Having rented in the private market for 23 years I can honestly say they have been a breath of fresh air and I would not hesitate to recommend their services to any would-be client.
