Brilliant experience - very friendly staff

Our experience of buying with Mulberry Homes was really good. We found that our sales negotiator Faye was incredibly helpful and went over and above to show us round various properties during our buying process and explained everything in detail to us on more than one occasion. Nothing was too much bother for her and she was always friendly and approachable. A lovely genuine person and I would recommend anyone dealing with her. During the buying process we were supported fully by both Faye and Amanda at head office who assisted with the legal side like chasing solicitors along etcCannot fault them.

Manor Heath- great purchasing journey

We have just moved into our home at Manor Heath and so far we are very pleased. Faye has been such an Angel throughout our purchasing journey. She has been great at communicating and we have felt looked after by her every step of the way. She’s been happy to answer any and all of our questions, and been prompt to take actions forward. Dealing with Faye has been and easy and pleasant experience, and she has been so encouraging throughout navigating everything. Sometimes you can feel like you’re battling everyone when buying a house. But thankfully this has not been the case with Faye. We were additionally surprised by the thoughtful gifts in our hamper when we moved in, and my toddler adored the little mulberry teddy that we presume had been left especially for her. We have been very happy dealing with Faye, and we’re almost sad we’ve actually completed and moved in as our time with Faye is coming to an end!I also want to thank Amanda for her support in pushing things forward when things became a little stuck at times, and for her patience when the pace would slow down. It is always helpful to have a sales team that wants you to move in and do their best to move things along whilst recognising that buying and selling isn’t always smooth.In terms of the house so far- we were pleased during our home demo to see that they had taken the initiative to fix some of the cracks, repaint over parts, and snag some bits and pieces to make the house look great. We have noticed a few snagging things since moving in, but we are confident that these will be resolved promptly. To date we are very happy with our purchasing journey, and we hope that the snagging list will be short, and quickly rectified, allowing us to grow into our beautiful new home. I have dealt with a few new builds over the past few years, and so far Mulberry hands down has been the best experience.

Steeple View Chase Bungalow Experience

We purchased our new home at Mulberry’s Steeple View Chase development. Sally was second to none all the way through from reservation to post-completion. All our queries were answered in a timely manner, our accessibility needs for our bungalow were always well considered by her, and she ensured a seamless process for us, all the while being a friendly representative of Mulberry Homes. Jason and Mitchell, part of the site management team, have also been fantastic. Their diligence has ensured our bungalow was finished to a high standard (when compared with other new build developers, many have commented on the high standard of our build and the development as a whole). Post-completion they have both always maintained an open and efficient line of communication with us to offer anything we need which has been greatly appreciated. Overall, the Mulberry experience has been wonderful. We have only been in our new property for just under a month, but it certainly already feels like home.

Great onsite team but poor after sales

The staff at Steeple Chase were excellent particularly Sally. Unfortunately it has all gone pear shaped over the after sales side of the deal. Feel let down by the after sales team at Mulberry, the deal we signed up to would not be legally acceptable to our lender and for the property to be insured under the contract terms. If we had known that at the start and Mulberry checked their position and facts earlier a six house chain would have not collapsed three months down the road. That said the house we should have bought was beautiful and the site team excellent. We move on and put it down to experience.

We’ve had an excellent all-round experience buying a Mulberry home in the Clifton Gardens development. The quality of the build, the minimal snagging issues on arrival, the house and development design, professionalism and friendliness of the sales and site team have been standouts. Special mention to Steve on the site team who went out of his way on several occasions - once when quickly fixing a burst pipe which had nothing to do with Mulberry - over and above, brilliant. We’ve been in for three months and very happy customers. Highly recommended if you are looking for a new build.

Great experience all around

Great experience all around. Faye and Helen have taken very good care of us during the sales experience and have always been in close contact keeping parties informed and working towards a positive outcome for everyone. Once we moved in great flexibility was shown by Mulberry to get keys early so we could make the most of the day and spend our first night there. For the fixing list after moving in, Steve made sure that all was tackled within 10 days of us handing it in.No complaints and a good experience overall.

Exceptional experience with Mulberry

Our experience moving home with Mulberry has been exceptional. Faye has been incredibly supportive from the very first enquiry, and as we progressed/post completion the site managers Steve and Greg have been exceptional. We had very minimal snagging issues anyway (and snagging is always to be expected with a new build) but anything we mentioned was addressed incredibly fast, often the same day. They have also been supportive personally and have made sure we are ok since we have moved in. Our experience has been exceptional, and I would highly recommend Mulberry to anyone looking for a new build

Faultless!

From the moment that we viewed our property on a whim, Sally from steeple chase view was excellent. She took us seriously unlike a lot of other house builders (due to our age of 24 and 26) she helped put us into contact with all relevant people to help us sell our old shared ownership property. With mulberry’s assistance we sold our property within less than a week, and had reserved our house with them. My first experience buying my previous property was so unbelievably stressful, that I was contemplating even buying again. However I honestly didn’t really think about the process of buying or selling much, and would just get emails from the recommended solicitors etc telling me what to do. All of a sudden we were ready to exchange contracts. This took 14 weeks to not only sell our shared ownership property (which on average can take up to six months I believe) but also to get everything organised and get us into our property. Amanda is most definitely the one to thank for this, she pushed the vendors every single day, at numerous points of the day to get the sale through of not only the mulberry home, but of my previous property ( that isn’t even her job!) A couple of tiny snags which really were so minor including a loose patio slab, and a loose toilet seat. They were repaired the day i noted those snags. Overall I would say that the property purchased was worth the price a million percent, whilst you can buy properties a bit cheaper, you would not receive the impeccable service which we have done here in irchester. Once again I would love to hi light the star of the show here Amanda! Absolute asset to mulberry, and a lovely lady.

And it’s a full five stars from us. We are so happy with our new home. Having bought new builds before this has definitely set the bar for others to aim for. The early move in initiative on completion day at 11:30am took so much stress away. We were sat in the garden drinking their complimentary Prosecco by 3 o’clock in the afternoon. Something we never imagined would happen on moving day. Snagging has been minimal and really only cosmetic things, which have been dealt with promptly and courteously. The qualifier the finish is great. Faye and Greg have been superb ambassadors for the company and a pleasure to deal with. Stacey is now keeping this up from after-care. No complaints at all really. I absolutely love my mulberry home - Kingsbury Park

I absolutely love my mulberry home, it is beautiful. The experience of purchasing the home was a negative one with constant delays, no transparency and false promises made. In terms of snagging there were a lot of items but nothing really major. Steve Kelly from the site team and Steve from Customer Care were instrumental in getting everything sorted for us and I would like to thank both of them as now we can enjoy our beautiful home.

We have absolutely no regrets moving into our Mulberry home on the Leighton Buzzard development. We have received nothing but 5 star service throughout from the whole team site, sales and aftercare.We were kept informed throughout the whole process, even when delays were announced due to construction, our expectations were well managed.There has been the expected snagging when buying a new build but not as nearly as many as we thought there would be.We would absolutely recommend Mulberry Homes to all friends and family.

The worst experience of my life.

The worst experience of my life.The customer care team respond to your complaints and pretend to be concerned but take no action towards correcting things. I have raised all my issues internally/directly with Mulberry Homes to save the company embarrassment and save myself time, but none of my issues have been resolved. Therefore, may I firstly highlight that if any comments are left by the company on this post, I will perceive them as an insult.I could write an essay about my experience and will be informing the NHBC and building ombudsman about every detail but as this is just a trust pilot review, to help the reader I will simply use bullet points.• Over 200 snags at the property found by an inspector• Snags revisited and signed off as complete when they hadn’t been touched• Extras bought through Mulberry Homes fitted damaged, not replaced 8 months after completion• Wrong tile choices laid and refused to be changed• Carpets laid with frays on• Wardrobe fitted with huge scratches and misalignments• Dented dishwasher and scratched hobs• Patchy paintwork all over the house• Garage door not flush, the repair team tried to amend it but couldn’t. A replacement refused.This was all after a delayed build completion of 8 months due to poor planning and preparation of the site team. The company are an absolute joke and have no organisation or integrity in the way they do business. The sales team are really friendly at first, promise above and beyond, pitching all kind of lies when you show interest in a property; but once the contracts are exchanged, they display no more customer service. The biggest problem is the aftercare and the fact that all work is done by subcontractors and third parties. Mulberry Homes attempt to take no responsibility for the poor workmanship and attempt to blame the third parties, even suggesting that the buyer communicates with them directly. The problem here is that as the customer pays Mulberry Homes, the issues are theirs to resolve by law set out by trade standards.I would avoid this company at all costs and hugely regret purchasing a property from them, not to mention will be selling my property in the next year. Previously I have purchased property from companies such as Davidsons and Redrow who not only displayed a much better customer service, they simply did things right the first time.This experience was at Kingsbury Park in Lutterworth. Frustratingly, some of the good reviews have been left regarding different sites who seem to be on top of things. This is a huge shame as Kingsbury Park is close to the head office and you therefore you would assume this meant they could get things sorted sooner.

They are on their 80s and haven’t moved for 45 years so this has been an overwhelming experience for them. But Faye has gone above and beyond helping them through this process. Dream home thanks to Charlotte

We finally moved into our dream home this week in Clifton Gardens. Charlotte and her team were amazing. Can not speak more highly of Mulberry Homes at Manor Heath. From the get-go they were so helpful and really took the time to understand what it was that we wanted, and our budget, and they did absolutely everything in their power to make all of that a reality for us. They have supported us every step of the way - always had such amazing communications with us and have always been so reassuring for what is quite a huge milestone in our lives! We are now living in our dream home, in our dream location, and we are still receiving amazing communications and aftercare with the team for if/when we ever have any questions or need anything.They are always so willing to make everything perfect for you and really take the time to look after you properly - nothing is too much trouble for them.
