About Martin & Co Bedford

We specialise in sales, property management and residential lettings, mortgage advice, and cover a wide geographical area including the villages and suburbs between Bedford and the M1. We're proud to have been serving the Bedford area since the year 2000, offering a wide range of properties for sale and to rent, not only in Bedford but also in Kempston, Wootton, Ampthill and Flitwick. Owners and Bedford residents Shahid Miah and Habib Rahman bring years of experience in retail banking and property management. The partners have built their own property portfolio and are strongly committed to helping others to do likewise, by combining entrepreneurial flair, local knowledge and a passion for customer service. Our main areas of business are residential sales, lettings and property management, property investment and mortgage advice. The office is located on St Loyes Street in the heart of the town centre and just a short walk from the train station. At Martin & Co Bedford we pride ourselves on our high level of customer service. Our team provide our customers with support, advice throughout the whole process with a dedicated point of contact and regular property updates on the sale or let of your home. We recently won The British Property Lettings Award for Bedford. The team performed outstandingly throughout the extensive judging period, which focused on customer service levels. Martin & Co Bedford has now been shortlisted for a number of national awards which will be announced shortly. In 2021, Martin & Co Bedford acquired local independent businesses Compass Lettings and Gateway Lettings adding to their already extensive portfolio of properties. My name is Levite Kuruvilla, and I reside at Flat 5, 41 Conduit Road, Bedford. Last week, we experienced an electrical fault and a potential fire hazard in our flat. I contacted Martin & Co. that same night by email, and by the next morning Mrs. Tira Miah, the property manager, responded promptly and offered immediate assistance. On the very same day, the electrician, Haari, got in touch with me, arrived quickly, and resolved the issue efficiently. We were quite worried, but the swift action taken by Tira and the professionalism shown by Haari ensured our safety and gave us great peace of mind. I would like to express my sincere thanks to both Tira and Haari for their excellent service and quick response.

Martins &Co Bedford have been really helpful with finding leaseholders to sign up to our Right to manage. Many of the leaseholders in the block use Martins as their service is excellent. We also let a house through them which was on recommendation. We weren’t disappointed! One of their strengths is quick responses which is really reassuring. Everything is dealt with in a professional and friendly manner. We would definitely recommend for lettings!

Called for information about a property. Apparently it's against company policy to tell any details of properties without first knowing every single detail of your life, I'm talking address, bank details the lot. To top it off Michelle was extraordinarily rude. Told me it was her terms or I don't get a house. Dumbness aside, who do you think you are? You work for an estate agents love! Miss high almighty means I'll be avoiding Martin and Co
