I was looking for a property to rent and with current demand it was a real ordeal. Viewed numerous properties and spoke to several agents, some trying to be helpful ("trying") but majority - not. Until I met Charlotte from Haart Residential Lettings in Bedford - she could singlehandedly change the general perception of estate agents! She was truly helpful, engaged and reassuring (so important in this stressful situation). You could say that I am biased as I found the right property but honestly, she was consistently helpful throughout the process. Regular updates, before I had a chance to start worrying, enough information and always keeping her promises! Her communication skills are second to none. Even when she was off, her colleagues would have the handover needed. And I must say they were also very helpful and wouldn't shy from getting thigs done. I really hope they truly enjoy working together. So overall this was a very positive experience and so far I am very pleased that I managed to find new home through Haart.

Their agent Jovan was friendly and helpful about the property which I saw on zoopla. Their team is quick to collect the advance money but of course other steps get delayed in name of Covid times. Their maintenance team is slow to respond and definitely difficult to reach (voicemail is where we land mostly to be never answered). 1) First the location on website was wrongly mentioned. 2) Inspite of prefixing the time to collect keys during noon, we were given surprises during the last hour. 3) Not even a single person showed around while entering the property. Not a fair excuse to use Covid situation each time. 4) The roof has been leaking and it seems lot of houses on top floor have been suffering. The haart maintenance team is unfortunately slow to reach and respond. Still problem is not resolved after 6 weeks. 5) There were water heating issues which took nearly 4 weeks to resolve. 6) A single key was only handled while moving in 7) How can a house be given for rent , while having multiple problems. 8) The door's handle don't work well. 9) But yes, rather than asking responding to queries which were shared within 48 hours of moving, I do get reminder to rate the agency.. positively.. Seriously 😑 10) I have said repeatedly please email me rather than ringing as working at Hospital makes it difficult, but still doesn't matter. They will do what suits them .. Of course, for the missed calls, later on ringing there are no answers. Inspite of me staying in different parts of world across UK, USA, Netherlands, Germany...This experience is really unique and very special..
