GoogleWinkworth in beckenham have been great during my tenancy for the last 4 years. Any issues such as boiler breaking down have been resolved quickly. Annual property checks completed at a convenient time around my work schedule. The staff are all great but Laura who deals with our rental tenancy is particularly great. We rarely have to contact Winkworth because everything runs so smoothly but when we do their response is always prompt.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleWe had Gina come over to value our property after getting three other estate agents in. Immediately we loved her, she gave a good and realistic value for our property and made us feel looked after, not just another house. She went and found the bperfect buyers and within four days there was the offer we wanted on the table. So many other estate agents said we would never get what we wanted and she got it for us by understanding us and understanding what the buyer also wanted. She is simply fantastic and we can't thank her enough.

GoogleWe had a great experience viewing a property with Esther. She was really friendly, helpful, and informative throughout the process. GoogleI am happy to recommend Winkworth letting agents in Beckenham. All staff that I have had dealings with have been very professional , experienced, friendly and prompt in dealing with matters . They are helpful and pro active and communication is excellent, keeping everyone up to date . They listened to our requirements and found the appropriate clients to fit them. Their invoicing / accounting systems are very efficient and easily understandable. The tradesmen that have been recommended by them usually respond in good time, have done a good job and are usually reasonably priced. We have had bad experience of letting agents in the past, but Anthony, Laura and the rest of the staff at Winkworths Beckenham have restored our faith in letting agents and take the strain out of letting our property. Many thanks to you all and carry on with the good work.

GooglePoor knowledge of the market. They were not thorough enough with valuation and failed to discover that a flat was on the market at a much lower price. I had to bring this to their attention! Also they were slow and not proactive enough. I had to look at market and call them to reduce the price. After a wasted 10 weeks contract with them no sale and we are now approaching Xmas where it slows .I truly believe we could have sold in September had we gone with another agent. Don't bother to try and sell with winkworth.
Dear Helen, Further to your review we are naturally very disappointed about your comments, however we do apologise that you were not happier with the service that you received from ourselves. When you went on the market with us in August the market was a great deal more active and we feel it was marketed at the correct price. Unfortunately, since then the market has gone very flat. We have noticed that you have since gone on the market with another agent for a great deal less, but have still not had any joy in securing a buyer. Furthermore, there is also a one bedroom flat in your road on at just £12,000 less than your two bedroom property, that has been on the market since August with a different agent and has also not sold yet. This demonstrates just how much the market is going through a difficult period, at this moment in time. We genuinely wish you every success in finding a buyer for your property in the near future. GoogleAwful experience selling our home, took 2 weeks and 3 phone calls to put our house on their website and rightmove, managed 2 viewings in a month and when we tried a few "secret shopper" drop ins from friends they never mentioned our property despite specifically being asked for the same type of house. We had found a property elsewhere and when the agent there rang them she was given the impression we weren't taking their advice and were unlikely to sell which lost us the house we liked. Totally incompetent. I rang to complain and wasn't even offered an apology.
Dear Victoria and Tristram, We are naturally disappointed about the experience that you have had with our office, in trying to sell your flat for you. As you are aware you purchased the property through ourselves in 2013 and you were very satisfied with your experience with Winkworth at the time. Then in September 2017 you instructed Winkworth to sell your flat, after you had not been totally satisfied with the internet agency that you had previously instructed. Within two weeks we had received for you an offer in excess of your asking price, but after considering matters you decided to stay with a buyer that you had received from the internet agency. In January 2018, you contacted us again to say that the buyer from the internet agency was no longer proceeding and wanted Winkworth to re-market your property again. Unfortunately, the buyer we previously had for you, had subsequently bought elsewhere. As I am sure you can appreciate the first few weeks of the year can be a little slow in activity and we had only been marketing your flat again for four to five weeks, and that your property is only likely to appeal to a niche market. I spoke to Tristram on Saturday 17 February 2018, and apologised to him about your concerns that you felt as an agent we had not persuaded other potential clients to view your flat. We agreed to withdraw your property from the market with immediate effect, rather than to request you to give us our standard 14 day notice period. We apologise again for the experience that you received and wish you every success in selling your flat through another agent. Kind regards Mark.
