I have been with Winkworth agents for a long time. I would like to leave this review specifically for Ema Veseli as opposed to Winkworth on a whole. Ema is a senior property manager who has kindly been looking after a property for me for 6 months or so. She is extremely professional, always prompt with her responses and always so utterly polite and reliable. Honestly she has been a dream to have take us under her wing and quite frankly a massive asset to the Winkworth team. She has had to deal with some difficult tenants and is always so polite and generous with them, despite how challenging it can be for her. I would whole heartedly recommend Ema, and if she had a review page I would be writing this on there for her.

I would like to leave a very positive review for Sophie at Winkworth Beckenham for her outstanding help in selling my two-bedroom house in Beckenham. I had a fantastic experience working with Dom. From the very beginning, he was incredibly patient and never made me feel rushed, allowing me to take all the time I needed to view each property thoroughly. Even though we haven’t secured the flat yet, I wanted to share how positive my experience with Jonas has been so far. Prior to being taken over by a new team, staff were rude and condescending. An oversight that I tried to explain beforehand cost me money and there were racial undertones that I was not happy with. I sent a formal complaint and was compensated after not backing down but the member of staff had already moved on. I don’t think Winkworth as a whole is very reputable based on my experiences over the last 3 years of dealing with them. Maybe now there is new management it may be better but I hope I don’t need to go through them again and yes I am still under their Estate Agents.

I am very disappointed with Winkworth’s attitude towards customers. My flat was sold with a faulty boiler that had issues from the moment I moved in, and it is clear the Seller hid this serious problem. We attempted repairs through British Gas engineers, who ultimately advised full boiler replacement. We paid for this ourselves without pursuing legal action, and I do not blame the agent personally as he was not aware. However, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of basic customer care. I contacted my agent, Daniel Norris, with a very simple request that would have significantly helped resolve ongoing issues in the property. The cold‑water stopcock, essential for both the boiler installation and the water meter, could not be identified anywhere in the flat or basement. I asked Daniel to check with the Seller where the stopcock was located. He never responded, even after two follow‑ups. We are still experiencing issues because the stopcock location remains unknown. It is very disappointing to see an agent appear helpful before a sale, then completely ignore the customer once the deal is closed. A reputable and trustworthy agency maintains consistent customer care standards, not only until contracts are exchanged.

We are so pleased we chose Winkworth to sell our house. Josh was brilliant. After just one open day we had 23 viewings and an asking price offer. We then lost buyers twice (it was 2022....) and on both occasions he and the team immediately leapt into action, got loads of new viewings and we were back under offer within a week. If it weren't for this we would have lost the property we wanted to buy. There were lots of bumps in the road for us, for reasons beyond our control and there's, but Josh and Aaron have us really good advice. Ours was not a high value property and yet they were really, personally committed and hard working throughout to make sure we could move. We' ve had less good experiences with various other agents in the past and would highly recommend Winkworth.
