GoogleI never started using it. They surprised me with an extra £2/week for insurance. That is like £104/year. Too high a insurance for their smallest locker room - especially when the things you store does have less value.

GoogleGreat staff and fairly priced. I live in Sidcup and had the choice of the Orpington or Beckenham locations. On my way home from work I dropped into Beckenham to just get an idea on price. Andy greeted me on the desk and offered to show me around. He walked me through the process and showed me a few different sized rooms. He discussed what I needed and offered me a discount as I only needed for no more than a month. He was fantastic and an absolute pleasure to do business with. Because he was so helpful and non pushy, I opted to reserve a room with him there and then. He made sure he was available when we came to move in, offering us a cup of tea on arrival. The service was exceptional. Would highly recommend

GoogleCan't rate this facility & staff highly enough - while the location is INCREDIBLY useful (just around the corner from Elmers End Tesco & tram stop), it's far enough from the main road that you won't cause too much trouble getting to it, although the traffic near can get "backed up" as the roads aren't fantastically wide The staff are helpful and friendly, the storage facility is large with a wide variety of sizes... the only strange thing about the pricing is that if you need extended hours (outside of 8am-6pm) is that a week is £2.50 yet a "one off" is £5, go figure! Overall, if you need storage near Beckenham/Croydon/Crystal Palace, you can't go far wrong with this Big Yellow - I can't fault them

GoogleAlways helpful people there. Handy location especially with 3 van hire locations 5 mins walk away and a train station. Means I can have colleagues go grab things 24hrs a day even if they are on public transport or need to hire a van.

GoogleVery helpful. The process of packing and moving can/is a stressful experience but the process is made easier if you use Big Yellow Self Storage Beckenham.

GooglePretty good service but on 'moving-in' day they didn't ask if I had my own insurance (I did) and automatically added their own insurance (which was much more expensive) to my initial payment. Luckily I mentioned I'd brought along my insurance certificate, and I had to resign the agreement documents and they gave me a refund.
