Had my house up for sale with another Estate agent, Jones & Chapman phoned me week upon week trying to take over the services of selling my property. When my 8 week contract ended with my existing Estate agent, I decided I would come over to Jones & Chapman based on their claims that they had "people queing up to buy in the area" and nationwide databases of people all waiting to move into the area" That was October 2023. I cannot stress how utterly disappointed and dissatisfied I am with the lack of viewings and servces I have received..so far I have had 3 bookings since October and none of them have showed up. Where have all the people they claimed were going to buy my property gone?.. they probably never existed in the first place, and when you inform them that their booking was a no show, nobody seems to care. Half of the time when you try and contact Jones & Chapman you can't get through, and if you are lucky enough to speak to somebody, you are told that somebody will phone you back...but they never do. I would not use this estate agent. Avoid at all cost.

Not happy at all with the service we got from J&C’s Little Sutton branch. They weren’t proactive or particularly helpful. It never felt like they were acting on our behalf. The only time they were enthusiastic was when they were pitching for the commission and agreeing their fee. Wish that we had used another agent.

Communication was awful. We put an offer in on a house and waited days to hear back. The whole time they did not mention another vendor offering. I had spoke to them in between to see what was taking so long to hear. Then said we’d been outbid. No mention of any other offers. Not really apologetic and couldn’t care less.

Well I would like to say I'm shocked to see such bad score but after the phone call Ov just had im not. Rented a property back in 2016 was in a round about way warmed the landlord was a difficult man but wanted our kids to go the local school and that's all that was available we stuck it out for 8 years. The house falling apart around us and the landlord fixing NOTHING. So we left once our kids education was complete in Jan 2024. Then began the second war. The war with J&C trying to get my nearly £1500 deposit back is impossible. Being told I had to contact TDS for them to say not J&C have it now they are saying unless I can get a letter from Lucifer to say we can have it they wont give us it as they never managed the property. Well the guy could be dead for all I know as I have no contact details for his as he changed them over the years and never gave them to me. So now I got to court just what I need right now

GoogleJake Gaskell at Jones and Chapman provided excellent help for us when we had queries and concerns for the mortgage process during the initial consultation. He consistently provided us with fast responses and continuously communicated with us during our house search. I would highly recommend going through Jake for any and all mortgage queries, the service he offered during the consultations were of a bespoke quality.

Very poor service from Allerton branch in Liverpool. Hardly any viewings then some couldnt get into house despite having being told about Key safe. Found buyer myself. Rude about flat always wanted to reduce. When finally did the deal lied about including furniture on final offer. Very dissatisfied with service no information regarding what was happening -Jess and Andrea in office incompetent. On the market (know it was quite tough times) for 18 months Do not recommend -very difficult to get on phone hardly ever rang back. Did really very little for the fee. Use anyone esle !

Unfortunately the same thing has happened yet again with this branch. Book in for a viewing at the earliest possible time. Then get a phone call the day before the viewing to say someone has viewed and had an offer accepted. Spoke to the branch manager who said they only have 1 viewing Clark, and they only work part-time. This means they can only do viewings on very few days. Awful customer service, and goes hand in hand with when I almost dealt with them for a mortgage Branch Manager was that arrogant that he couldn’t even stomach an apology

GoogleI have been using Jones and Chapman since 2010. I have bought 2 properties and sold 3 with them. My latest sale was with the Bebington branch, I cannot thank Mathew Holt and the team enough. If there was a problem, or a question that needed answering, it was done so in a seriously friendly, yet professional manner. It actually felt like I was dealing with someone I had known for years. I can highly recommend the branch at Bebington if you're looking for plain speaking, friendly and professional guidance for your property sale/purchase. Huge thanks

GoogleWe are currently selling our house and buying a property through the Bebington office of Jones & Chapman, they have been totally true to their word regarding any offers we have received for the sale of our property, it is their responsibility as our agent to obtain the best offer for our property, while operating to the letter of the law. We have been dealing with Clare Beattie, who has been very helpful with all the rather complicated paperwork, and also with her advice generally, Octavia Parsons has also helped us tremendously, we appreciate how she has constantly communicated with us, keeping us informed all the time in what can be a stressful time for us. I would recommend this office for any property dealings, Thank you Clare and your team.

Absolutley extortionate. Over £3,000 in fees and the staff are of zero help. You get a "progression officer" who is always weeks behind and expects you to update them. Save your money! You do the work anyways. They just collect at the end.

GoogleRebecca has been amazing to get us the best possible mortgage deal. She listened to all of our concerns and got us a great agreement that we were comfortable with. She explained all the steps of the process in detail as we were total novices and offered extra services such as life insurance, home insurance and surveys with just options but no pressure. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone but especially first time buyers like ourselves.

Absolutely horrendous from the word Go. I am a tenant in Private Housing and have lived here 7 years (with numerous different estate agents along the way). Besides somewhat slow service from the previous Estate agents there has never been a problem when my Landlord switched. Now however they took over as Estate agents midway though December where I had already paid my rent to the previous Estate agents at the beginning of the month. They are demanding payment for December and also decided to increase the December rent (Which is illegal, go to Gov.uk and check rent increases, they must give you a month notice before a rent increase if you are on a rolling monthly contract) and now, having paid them January's rent they are claiming they cannot trace the payment, even though I have sent them numerous emails with proof from my bank statements. They now claim I am in arrears by 2 months at the higher rate... Absolute Cowboys. There should be a minus 5 star on trustpilot for jokers like this company. I am not going to pay 4 months rent for the 2 months I have paid for. They should be banned from trading completely.

The worst experience Have just bought a house and am absolutely appalled with the service received from Jones and Chapman Moreton & Greasby. Unprofessional, rude and miserable staff. Have had to take this complaint to a Solicitors because they just didn't care about the severity of the inconvenience caused on handover day. Would now never sell a house with them nor would I want to purchase one up for sale with them.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
