I had agreed to book a valuation of my house, the staff was unprofessional at the approach with lack of knowledge as I had serval others to give advise whom were professional and within a couple of days without making several calls and sent out property valuation by email. But these guys are a waste of time don't bother to call you back. Last time I had called them gave me valuation by mouth but was not the person whom carried out the valuation. Instead was another colleague whom did not take my details I had to remind him another unprofessional approach, stated they would get that person to email me. Instead I got a email of an appointment to see a mortgage advisor which I did not book. I had called again to cancel my appointment as I had requested a valuation of my property which they could not get right. I would never give this business a contract to carry out my work what a Micky mouse letting agent no customer experience or service. I have been genrous to give 1 star it does not even deserve a 1 star

My experience with Connells Bearwood was a pleasant one. I had been looking for a place for a while as I had recently relocated to the UK and had been living at a serviced apartment/AirBnb and I was quite over it at that point. I had been struggling with dismissive agents especially when asking a lot of questions but Shaz was very friendly towards me and understood that I was new and had to understand how renting out works this side. Her communication and response time was amazing. She made getting a place so much easier for me. Thank you 😊

I am not the one to leave bad reviews normally, but this place is asking for it. This agency is currently holding on to my deposit money from a previous tenancy for no reason. House left clean, rent paid always in time or in advance, landlord agreed to repayment of the deposit and e-mailed them about it. They are not replying to the listed e-mails. I have managed to get in contact with a nice employee from lettings, but they have no idea what is going on, apparently there is a `Deposits Department` somewhere who does not agree to release my money because of various inexistent reasons that nobody knows. They even said I was behind with my rent payments, which is untrue (otherwise I wouldn't be coming here to moan about it, would I?) Most likely they are making money from savings accounts and are using these dirty tactics to keep the money as long as possible and receive interest on it - I will make sure to expose them if this is the case. LATER EDIT: As you can see, Connells replied below. - I did email them, no reply, of course. They replied to this review just for show! My deposit has not been returned still and no explanation provided! LATER EDIT 2: 4th of January - money has still not been returned, although at some point in December they said they did send it. Court claim incoming!

Terrible experience trying to sell a property with Connells Bearwood! I picked Connells to sell my property, due to their previous good reviews and experience selling neighbouring property. The whole team is friendly and likeable, however the person I thought would be managing my sale however moved department, and nothing really went right after. Very little effort went into marketing, despite numerous nudges to improve the listing description, which were ignored. Very few viewings were being organised and I received almost no updates after viewings unless I chased. Several times it looked like there were promising potential buyers, but then radio silence from Connells. Communication was poor and they rarely answer the phone when called. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same difficulty getting through to the sales team is putting potential buyers off. Finally after months a buyer was secured and it fell through after all the solicitor paperwork had been completed, supposedly due to the buyer not having a valid mortgage offer, which should have been picked up by Connells if true. They then made almost no effort to try and secure another sale. After asking them to take the listing off Rightmove, they repeatedly ignored the request for weeks (unclear whether this was due to staffing being stretched or at attempt to stop it being re-listed with another agent). I did re-list it with another agent and my property that had been on the market for 10 months with Connells, sold and completed in less than 7 weeks with the other agent.
