I recently sold my house and had a few estate agents looking to help me with the sales. I'm so glad I decided to go with Town and Country. Morgan and Bobby, were very supportive, assisted me through the whole process, gave me the desired home report value, arranged the viewing and also sold the property above home report value. They also did this, and in less than a month my house was sold! Town and country, knows what they are doing and I can't thank them enough for their hard work, transparency, and support.

Service above and beyond

Highly recommended Estate Agent who provide a professional and efficient service. Town and Country realistically valued our property, unlike other agents who valued it much lower for a quick sale, despite this we still achieved an offer very close to the asking price within weeks. Keith and his team could not have been more helpful, and all enquiries were dealt with in a timely fashion and we were kept updated on the progress of the sale throughout; the staff definitely went the extra mile. If we hadn’t just moved into our forever home, we would have no hesitation in using them again 😊

Town & Country worked amazingly to sell my mothers cottage, and Rebecca Hindlay at the Lenzie Office, was outstanding.The cottage took about 15 months to sell, during this time we had two abortive sales and eventually a sale which concluded in March 2021.This was a very complex sale, with many sets of deeds involved, land to be converted from communal ground to ownership by ourselves. There were various reports, which had to be repeated a few times, abortive sales and many other unusual aspects in the sale of this property. It was also during the Covid 19 pandemic.Rebecca was an absolute rock to me, Rebecca always returned my calls and kept me updated on all aspects of the potential sales and eventually to the concluding sale of the cottage. Rebecca was always courteous, calming and genuinely polite and helpful. She made me feel valued and always followed up on every question I put to her. Rebecca took on this sale with competence and a positive attitude. Rebecca was always honest with me and she always took the time to explain anything I didn't understand in a calm and respectful manner. I will always remember Rebecca for all the help and support she gave me through an extremely stressful time in my life.The staff at the Lenzie Office, were always polite and passed on any messages to Rebecca promptly. I had a very positive experience selling my west end flat with Town and Country recently. It was on the market quickly with good promotional material and on the right websites.The team were very helpful and professional arranging viewings, keeping me up to date and contacting potential buyers. Gordon was my main point of contact and was particularly good.Within one week we had sufficient viewings and interest to arrange a closing date. I live in England and I wanted to sell my late parents flat in the West of Glasgow. I contacted a number of Estate Agents. The costs varied. Some said they would send me emails and call me back, I am still waiting. I spoke to Duncan McKenzie of Countrywide, I was very happy with everything he said. The thing that struck a cord with me, was the fact that Duncan owned the company. In my view that meant he would try harder than some bigger chains. They would arrange accompanied viewings and deal with everything. True to his word and due to the hard work of Countrywide, we had more than 15, viewers. The first viewings were within two days of me appointing them. They kept me informed of progress at all times, with an email for every viewing and feedback the following day. I was delighted with the service offered and the reasonable cost. Everyone I spoke to, was very helpful and very efficient, in particular Liam and Gordon who were extremely helpful. The house sold in three weeks and that included the Christmas period, for a much greater price than we expected. I would highly recommend Countrywide and would have no hesitation in using their services again. Well done Countrywide and thank you for your help.

Where do I even start!

Where do I even start!If anyone is looking to sell we would 100% recommend Town and Country Estate Agents! We phoned just to enquire about selling our house and Duncan came out and gave us a rough estimation of what they could sell our house for. They took care of everything for us and our home was on the market within the week and sold by closing date within 10days for way more than we every thought possible! One star is more than they deserve

One star is more than I actually care to give but it’s the lowest I can choose. On trying to rent a house marketed by Town & Country we we continuously ignored, calls not returned, queries left unanswered. The worst service I have ever received. When I replied to my complaint because most of my queries had not been addressed. I was asked ‘what outcome would you like as someone has been sacked’ That would have never been my intention and in all honestly still does not resolve any of my issues. Jillian is extremely confrontational in her replies and in no way tries to help. Very disappointing service.

I cannot praise Town and Country highly enough for their advice, support and guidance throughout the process of selling our house. Initially I met with Duncan who displayed an excellent knowledge of the local market, as well as providing an accurate valuation. He was thoroughly professional from beginning to end. The marketing and sale of the house were stress free and straightforward due to Jan’s support and guidance. Very quick and positive interaction…

Very quick and positive interaction with Duncan as I went through 'agent' selection process. This was enhanced when he passed me over to Morgan to deal with the nitty-gritty of selling house and engaging with buyers. I found Morgan very competent, keeping me up to date with all viewings and the feed back generated; arranging them after hours or weekends, whatever was required. This totally took strain from me in this regard. House sold at closing. Can't ask for anything more than that. Would, for sure, use T&C, and Morgan in particular again.
