To all landlords leave them as soon as you can. These people don't listen to landlords. They done investigate. They only work to pass on cost to landlord. They dont care if the property is damaged or not been looked after. They even done care if tenant is in breach of tenancy agreement.

Bairstow Eves Billericay handled our sale at the end of 2020. We found Steve, Viviane and the team to be professional, proactive and communicative, and within 36 hours of going "live" on Rightmove, we had a buyer, and the sale completed in mid January! All in all a very good experience, especially in view of the way the pandemic has affected everyone in business. I can certainly recommend this estate agent!

Thanks to the superhero trio comprising Jade, Amy, and Joseph, our Christmas miracle came true! Jade was our trusty point of contact, and when she took a day off for training, Amy swooped in to save the day. And let's not forget Joe, who kept us in the loop when Jade and Amy were off gallivanting. From start to finish, their service was top-notch, leaving us with nothing but smiles.Now, here's the twist: the only hiccup we encountered was the moving-in gift box they provided. Can you believe it? 0.0% beer! It's like they were trying to test our resolve. Almost had us deducting a star from our rating! But hey, let's not dwell on that minor blip. Abysmal service for tennants. Still awaiting deposit to be returned 6+ weeks later. Beware of this estate agent. This estate agent do not care for tennants I was without heating and hot water for months, their excuse is the landlord opted to self maintain the property. They do not help, do not reply to emails. More alarming is I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED my DEPOSIT funds out of dispute over 1 month later. I paid rent in full on time, left the property early on 25th May, 7th July I am STILL awaiting payment. I called 4 times over a week to get a reply which then received contradictory information on if the payment is made or not. I am owed £1,171 and so far told it is authorised and takes 5 days to clear. It's been 10 business days Absolutely unacceptable. I paid 3 months in advance + deposit of £2048 + guarantor. Yet they cannot reciprocate returning funds in a timely manner. Worst experience of renting.

I would strongly discourage anyone from renting student property through Bairstow Eves based on our experience at 14 Devonshire Promenade this year. During the middle of winter, our house was left without heating for three weeks, which is completely unacceptable, especially in freezing conditions. We were initially told we would receive compensation for this, but that promise was later withdrawn without proper explanation.
