They can lie and break regulations

I have never known any company to be so underhand and unprofessional. Their marketing materials make it seem how incredibly professional they are. The sad reality, for me at least, is that they are underhand, lie, make things up and show a blatant disregard for rules and regulations. I have considered reporting them to Trading Standards but a recent personal crisis has made that impossible. To conclude, I am disgusted with their lack of care and professionalism and their outright lies. Estate agents are some of the most disliked people, and much to my disappointment, I absolutely now know why that is so. Yes, this is a dig at them but it is more that justifiable. They are really not nice people as you may or may not find out the moment you run into a problem. Having read the review of RTV_Syrieprince here on Trustpilot, I can confirm they are liars and can certainly be the opposite of understanding, considerate and ethical. No lie, they have left me traumatised and everytime I see one of their for sale signs, I cannot help but feel triggered and angry. I only wish I could have given them zero stars here! A really vile company from my experience, that I cannot ever recommend.

We recently sold our home with Paul Fox and couldnt recommend them highly enough. From the outset Ryan was very professional and efficent in ensuring our property was marketed correctly and quickly. Within 24 hours we had sold our home after only one viewing as the staffs knowledge with of buyers on file being very attentive. From then Michelle at the Scunthorpe office has been incredible liaising between myself and my buyer, the solicitors and ensuring everything runs effectively and communicatively. The team, and especially Jackie, were so helpful, accommodating, patient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they enabled a very smooth sale. When to view a house that already had a offer accepted the week before (not notified of this until I was at the property a 2 hour drive to get there ) They then couldn't open the key safe to the property and where awaiting a lock smith , at this point waiting round for over 1 hour also tried the key safe with the pin code that was given to me by the agent , so I then suggested that all the windows are sash windows and said shall I see if any are open or not secure properly as the agent informed us that there where keys in the kitchen draw joe stated yes thats fine there was a window in the dining room that opened when I pushed it up so I climated in and opened the door with the keys that where in the property the agent conducted the viewing we put a offer in 20k over the offer that had been excepted and left, to then be notified that I was being reported to the police for breaking and entering the property by the repossession company , even tho 1 i did not break anything and concent to enter was given by the agent so this is beyond a joke I am awaiting the police to contact me in relation to this i will then take this further as I have no criminal record ,and I am of outstanding character having raised 10s of thousands for charity over the years and own multiple properties outright , this is a complete and utter JOKE I will be taking this further as this is defamation of character and putting me in this position at my time of life is not on I would avoid this agent like the plague !

They made their first mistake by advertising the property for the wrong price. Instead of ‘offers from ..’, it was listed as if the minimum price was the asking price. This initiated a series of offers ranging from £25,000 to £5,000 below the minimum price (as agreed by their Valuer). This mistake was amended.

We used Paul Fox to sell my Mum’s flat during the pandemic. I confess I thought it might be a struggle at such a difficult time but nothing could be farther from the truth. Teresa Greener and her team at Scunthorpe were absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process despite the severest of lockdowns shutting their premises. We would not have known there was a pandemic going on.Teresa was a consummate professional throughout , keeping me regularly updated with progress on every detail of the sale.When our buyers let us down at the very last minute Teresa found us five new buyers in a matter of hours at an improved price and also made some suggestions that improved the smoothness and the speed of the sale. Within a few weeks the apartment was completed and gone. I would recommend Paul Fox without reservation if you want outstanding professional service with the sale of your property.

Had the great displeasure of coming across this agent while house hunting. Sent emails and left voicemail back in February for details to be sent, nothing came from them....my ideal home sold a month later. Tried again last week told info would be posted on the Tuesday, nothing by Saturday. Went specially into Barton and Angela was very rude and condescending, had to push hard for copy of info!! Also a house I had previously expressed interest in where the valuation was up for negotiation had been reduced by £10k and sale agreed.....not happy!! Also, on Saturday asked to be contacted by Paul Fox mortgage advisors MAB in Hull. Received 4 calls off Paul Fox Grimsby when I finally answered it was Paul Fox own mortgage advisor!!! Not an honest company at all and in the small print I later spotted that if an offer is made it will not be accepted unless you arrange your mortgage through them!!!!!!!! Wide berth needed
