GoogleWe used Stags Barnstable to sell our house in a village just outside Barnstaple, and they were very professional from start to finish. The staff in particular Will/Lynne/Nick/Dave could not do enough to help us sell the house. I would recommend Stags to anyone who who wants a professional, honest, polite and efficient Estate Agent for their house sale.

GoogleI have now concluded two property sales with Stags. I have been extremely fortunate to have the team of Will, Lynne and Simon each time. These and others at the Barnstaple office are the most professional, helpful and hard working estate agents I have ever dealt with in nearly 30 years of buying or selling. Nothing was too much trouble, even though on the second sale, we had chains collapsing. I would thoroughly recommend Stags 100%.

GoogleWe have been very satisfied with the service from Stags. We were happy with the asking price they proposed and which they achieved, be it at a time when the market is very buoyant. They have a two tier fee structure - depending on the price achieved. Make sure you are quite clear on the threshold at which the percentage changes. Verbally we understood the higher percentage applied to a sale for "more than" the asking price. In fact it was for a sale "at or more than" the asking price so we were caught out. In fairness the signed agreement was clear and we reached an amicable agreement.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleA couple of years ago Staggs sold my mothers house for us. We went to them last year to sell our own as we were very pleased with there service. It has been a long process for lots of reasons which are not to do with Staggs, but through it all they’ve been there offering support and advice. GoogleI would strongly advise prospective tenants to avoid Stags lettings. If you end up using them, look out for clauses in the tenancy agreement. It's not a standard AST. For example, they will turn up every few months, at a time of their choosing, to poke around your home taking photographs. There are also tenancy end clauses that will require you to spend a small fortune before check-out. If you already rent through them, be sure to take photographs of everything before you hand the keys back and be prepared to fight to get your deposit back via the Tenancy Deposit Service. GoogleGood professional service. However I would avoid them unless you in the high middle to top seller market. As their fees are not competitive compared to others but they do offer a more upmarket service.

GoogleStags have been amazing. We were selling our Holiday Cottage and so lived outside of the area, and on a few occasions have helped us obtain meter readings and recommended local removal people. They definitely went above and beyond.
