WONDERFUL WILL!

Will was literally the best throughout the 7-8month period we have just had for our house purchase, it was quite a long one due to many different factors... BUT...He was always the other of the phone either by call or text and always so happy to put the work in for us and his client who we bought from. Cannot recommend him enough, I would definitely recommend!

We have just sold our house through Whitegates and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others as the service we received was excellent. At the initial valuation Steve was friendly and professional. When it came to booking in viewings the sales team were always prompt in keeping us in the loop around what was going on with excellent communication via phone and text. Everyone was really accommodating when we went on holiday and were able to show our house for us while we were away. Once we had accepted an offer the team were great at keeping us in the loop about what was going on and Beth in particular went above and beyond in terms of chasing information about what was happening in our chain which really helped alleviate some of our worries! This is the first time we've ever sold and I would highly recommend Whitegates. I'm aware that there are cheaper online estate agents available, but it's well worth considering the additional service you from a more traditional agent who will really put the effort in to get your sale over the line. In my view it's definitely been worth the small additional spend! Anyway - thanks again to all the team!

When deciding to place our house on the market for sale we invited a few Estate Agents come to value our home and tell us how they proposed to market the house and their fees. We found Darren from Whitegates Estate Agents Barnsley the person who gave us a fair assessment of the value of our house marketing and fees. Darren came and took photographs and then sent us a draft brochure for approval. The house went up for sale and sold STC within 2 days from then on till final completion Darren and the staff at Whitegates had always been friendly always kept me informed of progress on the sale nothing was any trouble. Fantastic Estate Agents with no hidden extras in the fees. Finally if I had a need for the service of an Estate agent I would have no hesitation in using Whitegates Estate Agents Barnsley again. In particular Steve, Debbie and Beth have been excellent. At a time a few months ago when many other agents were too disorganised to deal with enquiries, Whitegates quickly accepted my instructions, and had the first two properties advertised very quickly. Buyer enquiries and viewing bookings were quickly arranged, keeping me in the loop with progress, and the multiple offers received. When it came to negotiating the sales, they recognised that the highest offers are not always the 'best' offers, and provided me with all the information I needed on buyer status and funding to enable us to quickly choose which offer to accept. Once the sale had been agreed, regular and relevant communication continued throughout to a timely completion. I recently handed a short term rental property back to Whitegates Barnsley and I can not recommend them enough. Rachel and Graham are a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable and provide professional yet compassionate support. On the few occasions I had to request assistance with the property or make a request to the Landlord Rachel and Graham dealt with it swiftly and provide me with clear guidance The application process was smooth and paperwork was completed in what felt like record time. The Best Estate Agent in Barnsley!
