GoogleI was supposed to be meeting a member of staff for a viewing just outside the property. After a long wait in the rain, just 10 minutes before the meeting time, the agent called me and informed me that she's still at her office and she won't be coming because the property is no longer available. She could at least give me a call a few minutes earlier so that I wouldn't waste my time in the cold!
Then I called them twice to speak with a member of the management team and I was told that they would call me the next day, which never happened. I had to call them myself.
Absolutely rude and unprofessional. It's a shame!

We do apologise for what has occurred here and were actually trying to save you a wasted journey. The afternoon in question we received a deposit from a prospective tenant and accordingly the property was removed from the market - we immediately telephoned you to cancel the appointment with as much notice as possible in the circumstances.
As the partner in charge of lettings I did speak to you and apologised and suggested that if you were still unhappy to put your complaint in writing for me to formally respond to but heard nothing further. I am not sure what more we could have done in the circumstances and whilst I understand your frustration hope you will appreciate the situation.

GoogleI have just sold with Hunters, this being the 4th property transaction that i have been involved with. It was by far the best experience i have had with an estate agent. I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of all members of the team and they completely removed the stress from the whole process by being responsive and proactive.
I only wish i hadn't wasted my time (and unfortunately money!) with an online agent first who gave me atrocious service. Yes the costs are high in comparison, but it seems you really do get what you pay for.

GoogleOn the way back from my daughter's nursery, I saw their car being parked in my premise. When I told the young lady with long hair, she was snapping, "we are leaving soon", whilst her male colleague sitting on the driver seat was sneering. OK, they might be ultra nice to their customers. But it will be a little bit more civil if they show basic manner to neighbors which my nearly two year old daughter is learning at this moment. There are other agency people coming and going in our street. They are more pleasant.

GoogleTry to avoid this estate agent if you possibly can. Especially if you are a tenant, they will try to rip you off with unnecessary contract renewals during your tenancy and wait until you move out. Even in professionally cleaned properties they will make a case to bring their 3rd party cleaners in and overcharge you afterwards. Try to deal directly with the landlord and certainly avoid this estate agent.

Mr Schulte had been a tenant in a property managed by us since September 2015 during which time no issues were ever reported to us by him. Our renewal fees are stated in our terms and on our website. Mr Schulte has never disputed them and has paid them on time and in full. We have clear complaints guidelines that Mr Schulte has never requested nor has he complained to Hunters about any of the fees payable. Mr Schulte has the right to complain to the Property Ombudsman if he feels the fees are unfair.
Regarding the end of the tenancy a check out was carried out by an independent inventory company who reported that some items of cleaning were missed and there were light bulbs that needed to be fitted and a repair issue, all clearly stated on the check-out report. Mr Schulte was sent a copy of the inventory check out report for his comments but he did not respond. He was chased for his response two further times and a text was also sent to him requesting a response to the inventory. To date we have still not received a response. If Mr Schulte had paid for the property to be professionally cleaned and his cleaner had missed things (as stated in the report), then he should have arranged for them to return to carry out these works. As instructed by our client and as result of Mr Schulte failure to respond we had no choice but to send in contractors to carry out the works indicated as per the tenants responsibility on the check-out report. A copy of the invoice was sent to Mr Schulte. He was also advised that if he wished to dispute this, he could do so through the free DPS arbitration service. The deposit paid remains with The DPS as it has not been claimed back by Mr Schulte. This review is the first and only response we have had and is unjustified based on the above information. We would have been happy to negotiate and assist if Mr Schulte had asked and would be happy to advise him on how to claim his deposit back if he would like to contact us.
