As first‑time buyers, we couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and patient estate agent than Jeanette. She guided us through every step of the process, from helping us with the property survey and liaising with the seller to resolve issues, to ensuring clear communication with both myself and my brother throughout. Jeanette went above and beyond even after we moved in, she promptly arranged for the seller to fix a faulty hob and security light, and even took care of letters addressed to the previous owner. She was attentive to the smallest details, such as confirming the location of the gas and electric meters, which made settling into our new home much smoother. Her professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made a huge difference to our experience. We are confident that if any issues arise in the future, Jeanette will do her utmost to help.

Where to start! Buying and selling house has been a long process for us. We did it in the one of the most difficult time arguably- mini budget, spike interest rate, prime-minsters-musical-chair… Hunters has been nothing but a star in this process. I had a really unpleasant experience with this letting agency. If you’re renting a property through them, make sure you take plenty of photos and videos of every single part of the house when you first get the keys, even the tiniest marks or scratches on the walls or doors. I wish I had done that; it would’ve saved me a lot of stress later on. Be very cautious and document everything.

Jeanette was lovely when we bought our house recently. She was really helpful and let us go in and view the house several times over the course of the sale and it was never any trouble, she was always obliging. When it came to choosing which Estate Agent to use in order to sell my flat, most people I sought advice from in Barnet immediately said Hunters. That said a lot for the reputation they already had locally. I was not disappointed at all and all the hype was worth it as they delivered brilliantly. Right from the time I called them to book a valuation through to the eventual exchange of contract I was extremely impressed with the quality of professionalism, knowledge, and reassurance that they provided. Selling or buying a property can be at times very stressful but Hunters has the top class ability to reassure, advise and just give you that feeling that they are there with you every step of the way. I mainly dealt with Michael and Poppy for the sale of my flat. Michael is very knowledgeable, experienced and I don’t think there was a question he couldn’t answer or a matter he could not offer reassurance around. Poppy has a fantastic professional and calm manner and at times when I was feeling the stress of whether things were going to happen on time, she was instrumental in carrying out the necessary liaison and inquiries to ensure that everything remained on track to meet the Exchange deadline. I can’t thank Michael and Poppy highly enough and the best thing of all about them both, and Hunters as a whole, is that they always made me feel valued and respected. We initially thought they might be optimistic with the valuation of the house but they were proved to be correct and we were too pessimistic.
