Williams Harlow were the estate agents for a recent house purchase. They were professional from start to finish, helping manage a swift sale (from offer to completion was two months). They were there to smooth any snags between seller and purchaser, and they did it in a friendly, professional manner, facilitating an easy purchase. Our agent was Ryan from the Banstead branch. He was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I recommend both the agency and Ryan.

Excellent estate agents. Agreed terms and they cracked on with the sale very quickly. After a good number of viewings, the house sold in a week and went through without incident. Too many names to mention and this really was a team effort. That said, a huge amount of hand holding was done by Ryan, this was a very emotional sale and, throughout the whole process, all of the Williams Harlow staff were professional, kind and considerate of our position. The sale went smoothly and we were kept informed at every stage, communication was outstanding. From start to finish Williams Harlow have been professional, responsive and helpful. From the initial enquiry they were great, never pushing but always ready to respond. We had an excellent photographer, rapid response to the Rightmove etc. adverts. All of Andrew's team were ready to answer questions and keep us updated. In particular Steve Jones, who managed the sale once we had accepted an offer, put in many hours of communicating with solicitors, other agents, purchasers and vendors and without his persistence we may have taken much longer or even lost the sale. I can understand why Williams Harlow are so successful and seem to have captured the majority of the market in the Banstead area.

We have recently completed on our new home and wish to share our experience with Steve Jones at Williams Harlow. We are so pleased Steve was looking after the property, he was very approachable and friendly, professional, reliable and open in his approach to communication. Given we offered, exchanged and completed within the peak period of time before original stamp duty holiday window was set to close, we were so impressed that Steve was shown to be efficient, proactive and very helpful in accommodating our queries and requests, such as accessing the property prior to completion to scope/plan work. This helped take away unnecessary stress associated with purchasing a property, and in the middle of a pandemic lockdown no less! Prior to purchasing this property, we were pursuing another property with another estate agent local to Epsom/Ashtead. Due to avoidable, incredibly long delays (waiting over 2 months for solicitors to receive the contract pack for example) and a poor experience with the property/estate agent, we had to walk away from the property. The difference in our experience with WH was incredible. We would not hesitate to recommend Steve and Williams Harlow, and on the basis of the excellent service delivered by Steve, we would wish to engage him ourselves should we wish to sell in future.

Williams Harlow Banstead were by far the most responsive and successful local estate agents in helping me with my property search resulting in a successful sale for them and a positive purchase for me. They only sent me properties that fitted my requirements in terms of budget and location. During viewings Steve and Barry were able to contribute ideas and suggestions regarding layout and work needed to a property so it could accommodate my family's needs. These factors reduced the time and stress that often accompanies property searches/viewings. I called them right after the property was advertised for renting to arrange a viewing. They said the tenant is only available on Thursdays between 3pm and 4 pm (so strict!), and they said they will call me if the tenant is ready for next week. They didn't call me again! I left a message for them, twice, but they didn't call. Two days after my first call, I went to the property to see the area around the property, guess what I saw! The estate agent was showing the property to other viewers! I was shocked, I called them again and left a message, but guess what again! No reply. I found this very unprofessional. I will remember this name "Williams Harlow", to not to look at their properties again, Update: in their reply, they missed the fact that the tenant was only available on Thursdays but they had viewings on Saturday! )We chose Williams Harlow because of their professional approach and presentation. They were honest about their valuation and produced a marketing leaflet that showed off the house to its full potential. After a slow start due to Brexit we had a glut of viewings that resulted in two offers one of which was the asking price. Despite also suffering a delay with Covid 19 the team worked tirelessly throughout the lockdown and kept our stress levels down to the minimum.
