GoogleI'll give them their due; turned up out of hours to show me property and very pleasant. Delay in completion was probably not their fault and I was a bit stroppy with them. However, yes, I would recommend this firm to sell your property - it worked for me!

GoogleSadly, gazumping is still legal in Ireland and APP Kirrane are making full benefit of this unethical loophole.
Hi Monika , I would prefer if you would use your true identity, APP Kirrane Auctioneering are totally against Gazumping and are part of IPAV who are currently trying to bring In a pre contract contract where a sale would start at the taking of a booking deposit. As of now the booking deposit is no more than showing good will to enter into a sale but the purchaser is also in a position to withdraw from the sale and receive the deposit back in full so it’s not binding on either side . The sooner the law is changed on this the better for everyone . There are no winners here trust me .

GoogleTerrible auctioneers for refunding deposit on property when purchase doesn't go through. Keep your deposit till you know vendor is in position to sell the property....
Shane , Your deposit is of no use to us , it sits in the clients account . Once a sale has fallen down you request your deposit, give us bank details and we transfer the money from the clients account back to you . We as agents have to pay from our own office account the fees incurred in the clients account . If interest is payed on clients money we must return it to the client . So trust me it’s no advantage to us to hold your deposit once the sale has completely fallen down or you withdraw from the sale . Regards Kevin Kirrane
