Buying a house is the biggest investment most people ever make. I bought a house in D16 from Sherry FitzGerald New Homes pre-COVID in 2019 and never once had a face to face with a Sherry Fitz employee. Remarkable! On the day of handover, they had a builder from the site meet us at the house with the key. He handed the key over and walked away. I never heard from anyone again to check in on us. We've had a bunch of issues since with the house and estate and nobody wants to know. I thought it was just us, but all the neighbours are in the same boat. Get the money as quick as you can and then move onto the next deal! When I bought off Quillsen in the past, the agent met us at the house to handover the keys with a bottle of bubbly and a congratulations card. They then walked us around the house to make sure we knew how everything worked. They then followed up a few months later to see how everything was going with the new house. That is proper customer service. I wouldn't buy a house marketed by Sherry Fitz every again. My recommendation to Sherry Fitz is to take a good look at their customer experience.

Excellent & highly professional service

We are so grateful to Julian, Michelle and the team in the Castleknock office for the highly professional, efficient and supportive service they provided for our elderly mother in the recent sale of the family home of 58 years. The house went on the market shortly before the lockdown and despite this we managed to complete the sale on 26th June. We were kept informed every step of the way and they were accessible and responsive if we had any questions. They always had our mothers safety and wellbeing as a priority. As a family we would highly recommend Sherry Fitzgerald.

Couldn't have done more

Worked with Sam at the IFSC branch. Very knowledgeable about our development, professional, courteous and pleasant throughout. Both Chris and Sam struck us as less hard sell and more 'tell us how it is'. They knew the market extremely well and even though COVID-19 intervened, they still got a great buyer and a great price with the deal completed in a very timely manner. Absolutely excellent, wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thanks Sam and Chris.

Ed Reilly came to value our home in anticipation of us going to market. After our first meeting with Ed it was clear he had a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the current market so we did not hesitate to appoint him which transpired to be a great decision. Not all sales go smoothly , however with a calm and problem solving approach the sale was completed. Ed was fantasic to deal with , always promptly returning my calls and handing any issues with the utmost professionalism as did his team in the office. For any future purchases or sales we may endeavour on within Eds scope area there would be no one else we would choose.

we used SF to sell our house unfortunately the agent told me he couldn't tell us who was coming to view the house because of DATA protection this is not the case with other estate agents and I was also told that no bookings would be allowed unless the person viewing the property had funds approved or financially able to purchase the house this was one of the conditions I had requested due to the fact that I'd have to leave my house everytime someone viewed it which wasnt an issue really but I would rather someone coming in that had funds rather than a person who didn't as it's only wasting time for me and my family aswell as the agents I found that once I signed a contract things had changed only for those reasons I wouldn't recommend but had never any issues in the past

Brilliant service from Sherry Fitz. Really recommend Conor in the Bray office. I had originally gone with another prominent auctioneer in the area, and even though Sherry Fitz were slightly more expensive they totally wiped the floor with the alternative. In the grand scheme of things we actually sold our property quicker and got a better price for it so saving us money in the long run. Highly recommended +++++

Unprofessional - never stick to commitment

I recently purchased a house through Sherry and my experience was worse (D15). While buying a house is a life event for most, the folks here has absolutely no consideration to that fact. They did not want to show me the house for final walkthrough which I had to argue with them. They lied to me that they had the entire house keys so I released the funds, however, they gave me literally just a single main door key. I had to follow up for 5 days, and multiple phone calls to receive the entire set of keys. After all this, it took 3 weeks for them to remove the 'Sold' board in front of the house. If you are looking for an agent, please do not consider Sherry, instead consider other agents who are more professional and friendly.

Excellent service and support in house sale

Sherry Fitzgerald helped us sell our 40 year old house, with the Bray office and in particular their branch manager doing a fantastic job. Great professionalism was observed throughout; we always knew exactly what was needed from us and the branch manager and her colleagues were extremely reliable in responding to messages and arranging meeting/viewing times. We particularly valued the branch manager's frankness in her guidance; what she told us about shifts in the market situation always tallied with external data, and she knew how to get across what it all implied for us. We cannot speak for our buyers, but the sense I have is that they felt they were being dealt with fairly, transparently and honestly. I would without hesitation recommend Sherry Fitzgerald in general, and the Bray office in particular, to anybody looking to sell a property.

Having purchased a property from sherryfitzgearld ,Renovated it and then went back to the office to whom I purchased from,and asked would they be interested in marketing our property,only to be messed around by the principle of sherry fitgearld,traveling a hr to leave a key available ,this was 3 weeks ago march 2023 ,only to find no one arrived to even look at the property for pictures , measurements etc ,This is no way to treat customers ,we wouldn't treat our clients in such a fashion nor do we expect to be treated in such a hap hazzard manner .Imagine turning down a new build 3 bed house ,A rated ,and not have the courtesy to ring and say look sorry we won't be marketing your property ,even when it was this branch in cork we purchased from .☎️A SIMPLE PHONCALL OR EMAIL WOULDNT GO AMISS
