Best property management agency ever! Really nice flat, delivered ever so gently and safely equipped for me and my family, we are grateful to Bernadette, Joanne and the whole team making this happen for us. First time feeling like heym and seeing us living here happily as can be, in realiable support when maintainance is required too. The previous tenant reassured me happily that Clyde is a very helpful property management company during the viewing so if that's important to you, i hope you are lucky enough to get one of the properties in their coordination too ππ€πΌ
What a lovely review. Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did, we really appreciate your feedback!

Kieran MacLean is a credit to Clyde
Kieran MacLean is a credit to the team here at Clyde. A very friendly and approachable character whoβs diligent with his work. I hope his work ethic and client centred approach is appreciated internally as it is externally. This chap will do well in his career.

Absolutely shocking company
Absolutely shocking company. Rachel and Lorraine should be ashamed of themselves. My daughter rented a flat from this company for a few months last year and paid Β£420 deposit. When viewing the property we noticed that there was a couple of small dampness patches which were painted over but my daughter needed somewhere to stay for a few months. The kitchen had washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker and microwave so it was fine for what she needed for her and her daughter. She moved out at the end of January this year and handed her keys back to them. She emailed them asking for her deposit back and was told that this could be problem as the microwave was missing and that there was mould on the walls in the bedroom which was already there when she moved in and as most people know it takes a while for mould to come through a freshly painted wall. Unbeknown to Rachel and Lorraine I took photos of the property when we left and the microwave was there and the dampness had started to come through the paint My daughter has been trying to contact them for a couple of days without any luck yet. There was no curtains or blinds on the windows when she moved in so when she moved out she left the blinds and the curtain poles up for the next tenant as a thank you to the to the landlord as they were willing to negotiate a price for the rent of the property. If this company doesn't come good with my daughters deposit I will take this matter to court and the Police as this is blatant fraud.

Certainly have shortcomings
Advising how good Clyde Property think the services they offer to potential clients as well as not being slow in telling how good they think they are, compared to their competitors, is a fair reflection of the initial impression of meeting a representative of Clyde Property..

****B E W A R E******OUT TO RIP YOU OFF *****T H I E V E S *****
How I hate this buisness, even several years after cutting ties with them ( and I will keep editing, so my review is near the top in order for them to lose business.) My story (Reposting this review after deleting previous post by mistake ) After splitting from my ex wife in Nov 2014, I rented a small flat from them, in Stirling. It was advised at the time, that due to a lack of drying facilities (though there was a very small back garden where I could dry my clothes.) , there would be a dehumidifier in the property to dry washing etc ( was a little concerned at this, but never thought much more about it, as I liked the flat plus area...BIG Mistake). I rented the property for around 15 months and in that time reported several faults, but very few repairs were carried out, Eg front door faulty, dampness appearing, blocked drainpipes, kitchen window leaking, in which they took pictures, but no or very little action taken. So it comes to the time to move out, and im now thinking how I can spend my deposit...... Think again. They came out to inspect the flat, and ffwd several weeks, they blamed me for the dampness, in which A) I reported.. B) Why was there a dehumidifier in the flat in the first place ??, and C) why blame me when I had reported dampnes, plus their quartley inspections would pick this up surely. They also deducted money for the unkept garden, which was a mess when I moved in, and I admit I did not do any gardening but trust me it was not much worse when I moved out. They never told me what time I had to leave the flat on the day I was moving, so they tried to charge me extra rent ( I was gone by early lunchtime, and nobody was moving in that day) They don't give you an option of what deposit scheme (several companies to choose from in scotland ) you want your deposit to be held at, they only use one ( I ask why??). I personally am very very suspisous at this. I am so glad that I will never need to deal with Clyde again, as they don't care about tenants in my opinion. Also if I have money deducted from my deposit for an already overgrown garden ( unfairly) then the money should be spent on this.( As for deductions for this dampness, this was nothing short of thieving, and part of the deduction was from my late dads inheritance, which he gave me when I rented the property at the start , which was pure robbery from Clyde, which I am so angry about, as this is no different than robbing / stealing from someone ) I have driven by this property on many occasions over the last few years, and nothing has changed in the garden. I beg you not to waste your money, your sanity, your stress levels dealing with this dangerous outfit. They are out to rip people off in my opinion, and will side with the landlord rather than the tenant. Oh one final thing, every few months they come out to inspect the property ( as mentioned above) , and do a report ( looks like they care, and are interested, but trust me they don't,and I'm certain its not to benefit the tennant )... But the tenant is not allowed access to the report only the landlord ( Again I'm very suspisous in this). Something to hide ???. Possibly the worst experience of a business in my life ( 47 years old). The small print when signing up is endless, so beware there to. STAY CLEAR FROM DOING ANY BUISNESS WITH CLYDE PROPERTY, unless you have money to waste, and yet another private company that puts profits well before anything else. THEY ARE EViL AND ARE THE LOWEST OF THE LOW !!! and I hope the owners one day realise the misery they cause to people.

Invaluable help and guidance. Thank you
I cannot thank all the team enough at Clyde Property. It was my first time selling and they were with me every step of the way. They answered every mundane question I had, they showed kindness and empathy and went out of their way to assist me with outside contractors too. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

What an amazing team
What an amazing team, really helpful throughout the process. Also helpful in the understanding that selling a home can be a journey that needs support and empathy. Particular thanks to Carol, Kirsten, Derek, and Hayley.

We put our property into the rental market through them. Lorraine and her team were extremely professional. They kept us in the loop from start to finish, considering the fact that we live out of town, we felt at ease every step of the way. Highly recommend them. Lorraine, Bernadette and Joanne have been really lovely. Rinku

Unnecessary vacancy periodsβ¦
Unnecessary vacancy periods between tenancies. In my experience, lettings management seems to a have a preference for waiting until the existing tenant has moved out, before re-advertising is started. On 2 occasions I've had more than one month vacancy period between tenants, with no maintenance work needed on the property. There also seems to be a preference for recommending slightly lower than market rate.
Dear Christopher,Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Clyde. I am sorry to read of the dissatisfaction you mention in terms of your experience at re-marketing stage. We do pride ourselves on customer experience and strive to ensure that we keep void periods to a minimum for our landlord clients, where possible. I would be keen to have a further discussion with you in terms of your experience whilst also reviewing your property file on our system. I am available any time and can be contacted on 0141 576 8500 or craig.moody@clydeproperty.co.uk.Yours sincerely,Craig Moody Letting DirectorClyde Property

Very Positive Experience
I had a great experience working with Clyde on my house sale this year. Nicola Palmer guided us through the process from beginning to end with transparency, support and a brilliant outcome. The team were easy to communicate with, prompt with responses and always friendly and polite.

Iβve had dealings with Lorraine from the Lettings department for a couple of years now. As a tenant, Iβve had situations with other local letting agents that make you feel like the agent only looks after the Landlordβs interests but I can honestly say that Lorraine and her colleagues are by far the most helpful, knowledgable and fair letting agents for all parties involved that Iβve ever dealt with. Always a pleasure and would highly recommend. Thanks
Thank you so much for the positive review! We're glad you had such a wonderful experience with us! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an lovely day!

Clyde are terrific!
Clyde created a superb video and pictures. There was a large turnover of viewers and my property sold within 10 days. Obviously a lot of people look at their site! The portal is extremely useful and the staff are knowledgeable and supportive.

Excellent Service
Clyde have been wonderful to deal with both in assisting with the listing and sale of my Motherβs property and helping with issues that arose at the time of closing of the sale of the property. I highly recommend using Clyde and Gavin Fleming in particular.

Would highly recommend
My partner and I recently sold our southside flat using Clyde Shawlands and we couldn't recommend them highly enough. From our initial contact with Clyde through to accepting an excellent offer for our flat, the process was seamless and highly professional at all times. We found their knowledge of the local housing market to be fantastic and they were able to provide us with all the advice we needed to get our flat on the market. The marketing materials were outstanding and helped attract a wide range of viewers. We were delighted with the offer we finally accepted for our flat and can't thank Clyde Shawlands enough!

Genuine people doing a good job
We were pleased for the start with the service, helpfulness and approachability of the team at Clyde in Helensburgh who were marketing our property. All the way through we were given good advice, helped through the process and felt that we had agents that were genuinely acting for us, not just out for a quick buck.

Landlords please instruct another agent unless you want it mis-managed, overcrowded and damaged whilst paying for the privilege
If you are a landlord considering using Clyde, please read this and then decide if you want an unauthorised occupancy, deliberately damaged and mis-managed and for which you are paying for this privilege. We were bought over by the agent on the understanding it would be managed very well and strictly within the tenancy agreement and would have two monthly inspections with all issues addressed and rectified. Unfortunately for us, this has not been the case. We have had extra beds, many suitcases and toothbrushes added, together with a fridge, for which theinspection agent happily took photographs of., when they did get access. They did not ever ask the question as to why these were installed into our property when the lease was for one person. Questions were raised on our side and nothing was done as the defence was if the tenant doesnβt want us in the property, they can refuse access. Why do they sell their services as being the only agent to carry out so many inspections and try to justify their fee in this way?We continually asked that they discuss the issues with the named tenancy agreement tenant only, however they still discussed with another family member living there instead who was not named. If there is an unauthorised occupancy, of course they are going to refuse access to prevent inconveniencing themselves moving beds, items and people around. Clyde were always happy to email to relay back any issues and as legitimate and legislatively conscientious landlords, we tried to rectify all issues notified. However as time went on, we could not get access to inspect and repair concerns and have ultimately served notice on the tenant to quit. Here is where we would say Clyde has discharged their liability acting as our agent. They have acknowledged the issues and agree the tenant has failed to adhere to their tenancy agreement and the extra beds etc now in place show the tenant has sublet, but their stance is such as the tenant is leaving, they feel thatβs the way to handle the situation and sit back. In the meantime, we are getting more and more issues of repair that are being caused by the tenant and those now residing in the property. Clyde were told on numerous occasions when workmen were in the property, strangers were coming out of the shower and entering the living room whereby they were told they could not access and all doors were closed on them. Issues were found on the home report and not disclosed by the tenant and Clyde have told us just to fix them ourselves as they are frugal, despite being on the home report and not caused by a repairing standard issue. Any other emails that have been sent over time are cherry picked if they get responded to and often get ignored whereby you have to chase them up....good customer service, we think not.We have been put under undue stress by Clyde and after now complaining to the owner he refutes our claim that our complaint does not meet customer service expectations, therefore we feel itβs time to stop lining his pockets when he doesnβt appreciate what good customer service really is. Part of the service for their fee is to manage the property and to inspect it accordingly to ensure it meets the tenancy agreement and for which all landlords put their trust in agencies to adhere to. Clyde have fallen short in their service agreement with our property and we would certainly not recommend anyone uses their services and find an agency who ultimately represents you and ensures you can gain access to maintain the property meets the repairing standard and does not jeopardise your reputation as a landlord by allowing an unauthorised occupancy, then stating if a tenant doesnβt want them or us entering the property, they have rights to do so. We acknowledge and empathise that tenants have rights, however a as landlord, we have rights to inspect and maintain our property too, but have not been able to gain access at all. They have failed to live up to their reputation and represent the landlord and we have felt that we have had no option but to review them and to escalate this complaint higher to the relevant agencies.

Loving Clyde Clarkston branch
Outstanding service from the wonderful Greg Wilkinson and Kay Blair and their excellent team at the Clarkston Branch. I can honestly say using Clyde has been the least stressful experience I have ever had of offering on and selling our property. The Clarkston branch helped to sell our property in just over a week, after we found our perfect property to move to. At every stage they provided first class service and went above and beyond expectation to help smooth the process. I would highly recommend Greg Wilkinson, Kay Blair and their team. I would use Clyde again without hesitation. Thank you to all the team, including the person that filmed our home (apologies I didn't catch his name) who was friendly, professional and did a terrific job showcasing our home.

An embarrassment of an Estate Agency
It was difficult giving a rating for Clyde Property Hamilton. They make you give them at least 1 star which is an absolute exaggeration of their ability to do absolutely anything professionally or proactively. The so called area director Liam Morrison did nothing but tell lies regarding the services they could provide which later came to light when trying to sell my property. The negotiator and branch manager Chloe Ferrier was also another lie of from Liam Morrison as he clearly explained that she would make the process smooth and would be proactive in order to have the property sold. She ignored my calls forweeks and did not have the property advertised correctly for weeks even after I pointed out the variety of errors that were posted online in the advertisement along with the poor quality of photographs again taken from Liam Morrison. After the comedy of errors and complete lack of professionalism I decided to go with another agency. My property was sold within just 2 weeks or marketing. I can not explain to you how much you should avoid this company when selling your property. It is one of the biggest assets in your life and leaving it in the hands of these two will surely see the process end in a complete shambles.
