Very pleased with everyone at the Diss office. Very helpful and friendly. Mainly dealt with Tania and Sue Croft who were brilliant. Also need to mention Chris Scott and Julie. No complaints at all.

TrustpilotA Half-hearted Apology Did Not Suffice.
Having booked and confirmed a valuation via email with Fine & Country, the valuer failed to arrive at the appointed time. We allowed an additional 40 minutes, in case they had got lost, and then telephoned the office, only to be told that there had been a mix up, and the person we had dealt with had failed to put the appointment in his diary, meaning that he was actually doing a valuation elsewhere. We were given what we felt was an insincere apology from another member of staff, and told that we could make a further appointment in 4 days time as no other dates were available. We are disabled, and had put in a lot of effort throughout the morning, dusting and polishing, to ensure that the house was looking at its best, only to wait in for a valuer who never arrived. This, and the poor attitude of the woman we spoke to on the phone, had caused us to lose all confidence in Fine & Country, so we decided to look elsewhere for a company who are actually interested in selling our property. As for the gentleman who we made the appointment with, we never heard a word from him, no apology, nothing! Had he bothered to call us and apologise in person, he may well have retrieved the situation, but instead lost the company a great deal of commission.In summary, a very disappointing experience with a company who we expected to provide a professional service.

Estate agent (Mark) in concert with the landlord provided no inventory. I chased for one and after 9 months one was produced which had photos of the property from 5 years earlier in thumbnails which you could not make out. The commentary was fictitious and it was clear that this had been produced retrospectively. Sure enough on vacating the house a claim was made against the deposit which was vexatious including a claim for £1,800 as they claimed I did not provide access to the house for prospective tenants frequently enough and hence this represented 'lost rent'.I would suggest not using this agent.

I recently sold my house through Fine & Country Diss office (my property was in Eye). I felt very supported through the whole process by their team, Chris, Tanya, Tom and Phillipa. I sold to a chain free cash buyer so it all went relatively smoothly. I was kept up to date regularly and I found all the staff to be professional, friendly and helpful. Asked for an evaluation and the person scheduled, who I understood to be the valuer, didn’t turn up. The lady who did stated that as my neighbours had sold for £255k and we didn’t have an extension we should market it for £250k. I pointed out that they bought 3 years ago and I have had a valuation for £325k since then. She advised that she was not the actual valuer and would go back to the office and discuss and call me back. Five days later and nothing!! No way has this place dropped £75k. It was almost as though a figure was plucked out of the air. Similar properties locally are all on for over £280k Shocking waste of my time

Apologies to Fine and Country. After supposedly dealing with Fine and Country, I found that their name was being used by another lesser company. The actual company who came in their name was one big problem. The property was not advertised properly, wrong description and address were shown. Beware that you are not taken in by a contracted estate agent who I shall not name. Fine and Country should be very careful who they use as contractors and vet them properly before sending them to unsuspecting sellers.

Having completed the conversion of offices into 4 flats, I invited Fine & Country (Diss) to market them on my behalf. The first one has been completed within 10 weeks and the remaining 3 are sold subject to contract. It all commenced with a high quality brochure being produced by Chris (Director) & Sue (Office Manager). This was then followed up by superb customer service from Sue & Tania (Client Consultant), in guiding prospective buyers through the purchase process and securing firm offers on all the properties within 10 days. In regular conversations, I was kept updated at all times and my questions and requests were dealt with promptly. All the purchases have been very efficiently processed and completed by Philippa (After Sales Manager) WHAT A TEAM! I thank them all and would certainly recommend them to others..
