GoogleMy recent house purchase was incredibly smooth and easy through Alexander & Co. It took two months from putting the offer in to getting the keys. The viewings and initial enquiries were undertaken with Hannah who is very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Angela over saw our purchase and the communication was great. We were given updates when required, I never had to chase her! She is very friendly and thorough. I would certainly recommend this company.

GooglePrepare to give all the details of your life just to register (not even viweing or renting) and then they will ask for a UK quarantor even if you clearly have the budget and have a steady job, like you are an ex-con, which is extremely discriminative towards immigants whoes family or main supporters live abroad

All prospective tenants need to meet the criteria set by the reference company and in line with industry standards to be able to take a tenancy at a property. We endeavour to obtain the necessary information to ensure we can support you in the right way with your search, and also to protect our landlord’s when finding tenants who meet the necessary criteria in line with their instructions. There is certainly no discrimination, and a guarantor would only be asked if you do not meet the reference criteria outright. We have no information to contact you directly, but if you wished to discuss such criteria or your search requirements further then please do not hesitate to contact us, otherwise we wish you the best with your search with an agency who has a lower reference check criteria.

GoogleWe have rented through Alexander’s for nearly 5 years now, firstly with Hayley, who was a star! We then moved to a larger property, still through Alexander’s & Derek became our agent. Over the last two years, whenever problems occurred, Derek resolved in a efficient, timely, manner. However, the last 4 months Derek has really excelled! Our move was postponed due to Covid. You can imagine the Stress this caused. Derek took the stress right out of the situation, liaising with our landlord to extend our stay. Derek always reply’s the same day to emails and bends over backwards to support his clients. The whole team at Alexander’s, from the initial viewing, to leaving a property, are helpful and efficient - I can’t recommend this agency enough.

GoogleEveryone at Alexander and Co has been fantastic throughout the sale of our flat, we were originally with another agent, but due to lack of communication and interest we decided to switch. Our flat was then under offer in a matter of weeks with Alexander and Co. From getting on the market, to negotiating the offer and managing sale the whole team has been extremely helpful and patient. The communication has been excellent and has played an enormous part in the success of our sale and purchase.

FacebookI am literally disgusted at the treatment my family have recieved renting a property from your company specifically Aylesbury branch. They basically insulted us by saying we left the property smelling of dog. We have followed the contract and had the place deep cleaned (end of tenancy) dry cleaned the curtains. Repainted a room with silk paint instead of the emulsion that was previously there. We fitted new fire alarms. Fixed the shower door filled several holes in the walls that were there when we moved in (pictures as proof) but the letting manger at Aylesbury said WE left holes in the walls. When we got served our notice to leave out of the blue lettings management was so rude when we told them we had to stay there until they served us a court notice which we were told to do. As if we didn't feel bad enough but unfortunately we can't make two children homeless because we feel bad. If the "smell of dog" was going to cause a problem, why allow a dog in the property? Our dog smelling of dog is not our fault. I find it strange there's such a strong smell of dog even though everyone else can only smell fresh paint. When we asked where's our deposit or have you even heard anything my husband was met with no answers. Alexander and co are very blase with such large amounts of money needed for two children because we're now out of pocket.
Above pictures of the probable cause of "slight stale smell" this is the result of a leak from the shower that got through to my daughter's room. It went into the wall, skirting boards, wallpaper and carpet. It destroyed the toys which were there.
