GoogleDidn’t start well when they messed up the bookings for viewings (wrong times and wrong days). Absolutely hated dealing with them when buying a house. Not sure how they operate but information given to one person was not passed onto another and I was constantly being asked to provide the same information over and over again, despite me saying it didn’t apply to us. I found Jordan to be efficient and helpful but sadly I also dealt with other people who clearly were not. They also harassed my conveyancer and were quite rude when demanding information they were not privy to, like who was buying our house (GDPR anyone?). It got so bad that we decided to look at other properties and we made sure to not view any properties that were listed by Arc Homes. We have a house now and if it is ever put up for sale, it will not be with Arc Homes.

GoogleI have recently had very disappointing and unprofessional dealings with Arc Homes. After having an offer accepted and the property going SSTC, I called to book another viewing to take round my builder & to check that everything was in place for a fast completion. Arc Homes booked in a viewing for me and told me all paperwork was in place; then unexpectedly called me back an hour later to tell me that they have actually took more offers and 'the vendor has decided to go with another offer'.
I'm not sure at what point Arc Homes were planning on letting me know about the other offer if I hadn't have phoned up, or whether they treat all of their clients in such an unprofessional manner, but from my experiences I would not recommend them to anyone.

Thank you for taking the time to review us and I'm disappointed that you felt that we were unprofessional.
I have looked into your file and I felt it prudent to give a little context to the review as whilst I appreciate your disappointment, I refute that we have been unprofessional in this case.
Your offer was accepted and all proof of funds were received. At that point we put properties under offer when we are satisfied that any buyer is able to purchase a property. However, we then received an offer from somebody who had viewed the property three times prior to you which was significantly higher. Obviously, we have a duty to put all offers forward to the owners, and whilst we can give our vendors our advice on who we think is in a better position, ultimately it is the owners decision on who to go with. Given the difference in the offers it was no surprise that the owners went with the other offer. We can only apologise for the timing of this higher offer and can assure you it was coincidental.
The property was not removed straight away due to this higher offer coming in and us being unable to reach the owners to discuss the situation.
Once the owners informed us of their decision we called you.
This was explained in detail to you today on the telephone and the option to revise your offer was also explained to you.
I understand and appreciate your frustrations and, should you wish to come in and review the files please feel free to contact me at dean.baylis@arc-homes.net.
Furthermore I need to reiterate our duty to the owners.
If you were selling through us and we didn't present you with a significantly higher offer from a previous viewer - I'm sure that you would be even further disappointed

Successfully sold my home with their support this year, this is after attempting to move twice before with their support and realising timing wasn't right for me, despite having found a purchaser.
Having experienced various agencies while buying Arc sets a super high bar. Their customer care for both vendor and purchaser is second to none, it's Angela who magically does this. She is the glue that kept my sale on track when onwards purchase caused delays and has the patience of a saint!

GoogleFelt confident going with this company and seeing how many properties they managed but it was not a nice process at all! Staff were rude, entitled and not supportive considering how much money they got from me selling my property. They only managed to secure one viewing despite how popular the area is and frankly would never use them or recommend them again!
Update: I have not got the wrong company but it wasn’t recent so hopefully things have improved because you were rude throughout and very unhelpful and wouldn’t recommend and certainly were perplexed myself with the positive reviews and service we had.
