GoogleSold my house through Guildhall viewings and offers within 4 days, they made the process very seamless! I was buying a new build and Abbie made sure I was kept updated on how the whole chain was progressing and even knew more about how my new house was coming along! Even with ups and downs it was guildhalls advice and follow up phone calls to all parties that made the transaction so much easier and less stressful than I ever expected! Worth every penny!

Who went above and beyond expectation of excellent customer service level by giving me right sort of advice and the best way to deal with financial stability to work by my means of income. Give me input personal circumstances to deal with financial measure. Sarah is credit to the company, with this sort customer service will encourage alot more customers to be service by Guildhall & Lettings in coming years.

GoogleI am in the final stages of purchasing a property and Guildhall lettings are the agent for the seller. I met a lady called Abbie Wilson to originally view the property i am purchasing and I have found her to be very professional , and very helpful and understanding throughout the process which has made the arduous process of purchasing a new property much easier. I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to use Guildhall lettings as an organization and Abbie is a great credit to them .

We were extremely impressed by Charlie’s approach, professionalism, and general demeanour. He came across as genuinely enthusiastic and positive. His evaluation of our property was absolutely spot-on and perfectly aligned with our own expectations, which gave us a lot of confidence. It was largely due to that positive interaction with Charlie that we decided to appoint GuildHall Sales and Lettings to handle the sale of our property, his energy and passion for the property were clear to see, and it really felt like he wanted to sell it as much as we do!

GoogleIt was my first time buying a property and I thought this might be an anxious and stressful situation. This was all turned around by Abbie. She was extremely professional throughout and was always available for questions. She made the process seem seamless and I was very thank full. The whole team in the office, Gillian, Lauren and Becky were friendly and helpful and would highly recommend Guildhall lettings and sales for their helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

GoogleFirst class experience. We had to sell my mum’s home which was very emotional for us. Guildhall Sales and Lettings helped us through this process with so much care and kindness. Such a professional team, especially Abbie and Chris who looked after us so well from start to completion. GoogleDODGY LETTING AGENT! If you're a tenant, then don't use guildhall lettings. Where do I start, but I don't have much time. Guildhall lettings are holding on to my deposit because apparently the bath sealant needs changing (even though the bath panel had dropped off due to mouldiness which was due to lack of ventilation). It's been over a year and all inventory clerks agree that it's a wear and tear issue after a year 'Replacing bath sealant also falls under a landlord’s maintenance issue after a tenancy of one year or longer' - Inventory Clerks. The bracket for a towel rail fell off so that needs replacing. Fair enough. But they wish to charge £90 for this. I have been waiting for 2 weeks for a copy of the quotation they apparently received and they still can't produce that. Seems like these ludicrous figures have been plucked out of thin air! As a tenant, they treat you like dirt. Lauren King, actually admitted in her email that they act in the best interests of the LANDLORD. They don't care about the tenants. What Lauren doesn't realise, and probably doesn't care either as it's not her business, that without we tenants, there would be no landlords and there'd be no Guildhall Lettings! The staff are rude and accusatory and speak to tenants in a condescending manner. They never call back when they promise to. You have to chase them several times for a response. I asked to speak to Robert Shields on several occasions, he owns the business, as I couldbt tolerate the rude staff any longer, and apparently, according to Lauren King, Robert is too busy to speak with me ever! If you're a tenant, avoid these like the plague. You won't get your deposit back and they'll treat you like dirt if you try to argue with them. They only care about the landlords and work for them only apparently. Go with another agency like bridgfords in preston
In response to this negative rating, we assume that all these five reviews emanate for the same property and same tenant, relating to an apartment on Lord Nelson Wharf. That is to say Garrett Taylor, K Davies, Lukman Umarji, Simon Taylor, EFAL worldwide, Limited addition who are either non de plume or associates of the complaining tenant who is trying to generate a wave of adverse publicity against our company. Only one name in the list is genuine and has had any dealing with our company. He threatened to do this if he didn’t get his own way. This is actually tantamount to blackmail. The tenant wishes to bring this dispute into the public domain and ‘air their dirty laundry’ in public then we are obliged to respond. The issue in question is very simple. This tenant checked out of this property on 26/09/2017 after 4 years of tenancy, and a number of issued were raised. Amongst these issues were:- 1. the towel rail in the bathroom had been pulled from wall and lay on the floor 2. There was a large stain on the bath roll 3. The bath sealant was black 4. The carpet in the lounge was damaged For which a deduction of £150 from their deposit was proposed. The remaining balance of their security deposit was returned to them on 10/10/2017 which will have been in their bank on 12/10/2017. We explained on many occasions that this is a very simple procedure, and if the tenant did not agree with our figures, there is a dispute system in place for them to pursue which is totally impartial which to date they have not taken up. We cannot see anything unreasonable in any of the above. Perhaps the tenant would have been better served by ourselves had he addressed all of the staff in Guildhall Lettings both correctly and politely, instead of numerous calls and emails which were tantamount to harassment over what is a very simple procedure. The while process of renting houses is very procedural and simple. We have inventories and photographs which are dated and timed at the start and end of the tenancy. Our contractors who attend any property take before and after photographs of any work carried out to eliminate any discrepancies in the condition of the property, and therefore there is no reason for this vicious attack on ourselves. The tenant still has the right to take this to the formal and impartial dispute service and thence onto the Property Ombudsman if he still feels aggrieved, which we will welcome. We are a successful and regulated agent who manage in excess of 300 properties and have never had a dispute such as this in our 12 year history and would refute any accusation of tampering with photographs or changing evidence as this is tantamount to forgery. The tenant for whatever reason is trying to get his own way by blackmail, harassment, threats and accusations, all for £150 when he has a very simple solution in front of him, if only he would open his eyes.

GoogleWe have used Guildhall Lettings to rent our property out on our behalf for about 10 years now. We use their guaranteed income scheme, which ensures our rent goes into our bank each month, even if the tenant doesn’t pay. Anytime there’s been a problem at the property with maintenance or anything else, Guildhall Lettings have been superb at getting it sorted straight away. They’ll organize local tradesmen for you and liaise with us, the tradesmen & tenant, and get the maintenance done hassle free, there’s absolutely nothing we need to do ourselves at our property. Anytime we have had to call into the office or speak to the staff on the phone They’re always very professional & helpful. I’m very happy to give this business a 5 star rating. GoogleLandlords, contractors and tenants beware. It's no longer Guildhall lettings and the lettings side isn't even based in Preston. This review will be buried beneath the fake reviews from staff and family/friends that have popped up since the takeover. No Guildhall staff left, only Keenan's. It would be nice if they would actually bother to respond to requests for outstanding invoices to be paid months after work has been completed, but instead they just tell lies or ignore you.
