GoogleI have just sold a house through Jackie Quinn Estate Agents and I can't praise them highly enough for the smoothness and efficiency of the transaction. Apart from this, but what makes it all work so well, is the friendly atmosphere within the Company with a warm welcome given to me on every visit. The house was that of my late Partner, and I was warmed by the sympathetic approach from all in the Ashtead Office. I do thoroughly recommend Jackie Quinn to anybody needing to sell or buy.

FacebookCheerful & friendly service! JQ & Co recently sourced a buyer for my freehold property, and a tenant for my rental property - both of which are in Dorking. Despite the current constraints in respect of COVID 19, the buyer and tenant were found quickly and I achieved good prices for both transactions. Harry was exceptionally efficient! This company also cover a wide radius outside Ashtead. Indeed, they also sold a large freehold house in Dorking for me five years ago and I regularly see their “sold” and “let” boards all around the town.

GoogleI was a tenant through Jackie Quinn, but also own a property elsewhere as a landlord. Overall Jackie Quinn was ok. The worst thing about them is the lack of organisation and response from them. Perhaps they are overworked, I'm not sure, but God they really need to work on being more organised. The response times from the office was severely lacking, expecting maybe up to 2 weeks at times for a response (whilst also having to chase up in the meantime MULTIPLE times). The most disappointing experience with Jackie Quinn was organising my check out. This was beyond terrible as they had booked me in through this external company to which I agreed a time to meet at the property and took a day off work. I soon find out the day before the check out company was booked in error - but not through Jackie Quinn. They had not reached out at all, despite the external contractor telling them to let me know. In their emails they explicitly say "you need to show receipts from an external cleaning company or your deposit will be delayed". We cleaned ourselves (thoroughly as you'd expect) and got 99% of our deposit back. But please take your own pictures as evidence when you check into the property. I would also like to mention it is against the law for them to make it mandatory for you to ask a cleaning company for your check out, despite what I would call a very border-line threat. Please see Tenant Fees Act 2019. I guess Jackie Quinn could have been worse but would I go back with them again? Probably not. If I were to buy a property in Surrey, would I trust them to handle my property? Because of their lack of responses and poor organisation, probably not.

GoogleFor me JQ have redefined Estate Agency. Forget smarmy men with shiny shoes and their Dad's old suits. Jackie and her team are head and shoulders above in the local area and have got to be one of the best outfits in the country. Selling our property through them was effortless. Having had the misfortune to have listed with a couple of more corporate agents just as Covid surfaced I can't describe what a relief it was to finally find a team who listened carefully and invested the time required to sell our home. Their approach was considered and, supplemented by some excellent photography and 3d matterport scans, we sold to the first person to walk through the door. Most interactions were done via WhatsApp at my request which made getting updates and even the negotiations an absolute breeze. I've told every man and his dog about my positive experience with JQ. For anyone reading this I'd urge you to have a chat with them before you sell or rent your home. GoogleDuring a time of absolute turmoil in our lives, after being flooded out of house on Christmas Eve, Jackie Quinn and their staff were exceptional. Not only did they find us one property, for my daughter and grand daughter , but another flat for myself, wife and son. The whole process was as smooth as clockwork. Within the week, we were picking up keys and moving into the two properties.This was particularly outstanding given the time of year and the obvious Christmas shut down. I cant thank the staff enough for going beyond the call of duty during an extremely traumatic time. If you ever need an Estate you can trust to be there for you, when it really matters Jackie Quinns are you answer. I will always be checking with them first should the need arise in the future. Thank you Jackie Quinn's you were brilliant.

GoogleI haven’t had a chance over the summer but I just wanted to express my thanks to every single person in the lettings team. Not only were they all incredibly professional, friendly and patient. Your team completely understood our requirements and expectation of both us as landlords and of the tenants. The property was let within the same day at full asking and the tenants are fabulous. The one thing I found most refreshing was that the training you offered you staff was very apparent. They knew all the housing act and regulations and was able to provide the correct information and obligations as a landlord. I have no doubt that when our other properties becomes available we will be using you again.

View AgentsDidn't inspire confidence
This agent was only bent on getting viewers through the door and misled us on the status of viewers consistently. I was told viewers had their houses on the market when they didn't and that some were under offer when they weren't. I later found out that this is because of payment incentives to staff, I.e., they get a commission per viewing. When showing the house, rather than concentrating on its benefits, they focused on how it could be extended, which I believe gave a poor impression.
Thank you for taking the time to write this review - your feedback is valuable to us as we constantly strive to maintain the exceptional level of customer service that has won us many awards over the years. I am really sorry you were dissatisfied with our service but would like to clarify that your statement of 'payment incentives to staff' based on numbers of viewing is totally untrue. My team always 'qualify' viewers before they book to view a property but clearly we cannot guarantee that they are telling us the truth about their position. If they proceed to make an offer, we then request formal proof of their ability to buy as the only time we get paid is on successful completion.
