Terrible experience, had to rush our viewing as they only had a 15 minute time slot, offer accepted then had to go in with best and final offers. Offered again £15k over offer originally accepted and now missed out on our future family home. Devastated for my family and extreme stress.
Please accept our public apologies for not being able to sell your dream home to you. As agents we are under legal obligation to pass on all offers and interest to our clients the sellers up to exchange of contracts, this is the law and Cairds have acted with diligence and according to current legislation.Ultimate decision to whom any property is sold to is the sellers discretion and not the agent.

We have been letting property for over 20 years and normally go for the ‘scatter gun’ approach when appointing agents. Give it to everyone in town and eventfully one of them will let it. This time we were persuaded to give it to Caird’s on sole agency basis. I was fully prepared to revert to my normal tactic after a couple of weeks, but they let the property on the second viewing. Their back office systems were just as efficient. If anything they were a little over cautions in terms of protecting our interests, but I guess that is what we are paying them for. John & Gina Biggs
