GoogleFrom my first phone call to my last phone call I could not have asked for better service. Zowie Robinson (and the rest of team when she wasn’t available) was absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to make the journey as stress free as possible. I was a first time buyer so a little unsure of how things worked but Zowie offered all the reassurance I needed, and in a language I understand, so there was no jargon or bamboozling. GoogleI listed a property for sale in Newbiggin by the Sea with RMS in Ashington. Right from the outset they were professional, easy to deal with and very responsive to any and all of my queries. They sold the property very quickly within the price range that we had previously agreed and then followed up all of the links with solicitors to ensure that the sale progressed smoothly. GoogleWould have liked to give a better review but feel let down was told that the cash buyer for the sale of the property would like to complete asap 4 months later with a lot of chasing on our part it finally happened. Poor correspondence unless it was to get us to reduce the price think they forgot they were working for and being paid by us to secure the best possible price in the shortest time frame for us the client. This is a Shame because we believed they are the best estate agents in Ashington clearly they are notNegativeValue
Hello Alison, We are very disappointed to read this comment, we do take our customer service very seriously. I have spoken to the branch and confirm that as the purchaser regularly buys through Rook Matthews Sayer Ashington the staff were aware that the purchase was through a mortgage, furthermore they were under the impression that you knew this. Perhaps the confusion may have stemmed from the buyer wishing to complete quickly. While we appreciate the time constraints you experienced, the branch staff regularly chased the mortgage lender, who apologised for the delays and stated they were due to Covid-19. A further delay was incurred due to the purchasers’ solicitor moving house, which prevented the funds being released until the address was updated. We understand the frustration you felt due to the price reduction, however, due to the results of the survey the purchasers’ felt as though they had to reduce their offer in order to complete the work required. We have received confirmation from the team that your brother was updated at all stages of the sale and received contact at least twice a week, the staff were informed that he would be the main point of contact and not yourself. We are disappointed to receive this review after you visited the branch upon completion and thanked the staff personally for all their hard work and determination and did not mention any of the aforementioned concerns or issues. We’re sorry you felt you needed to leave us this review. We are very well known for our excellent customer service and it is just one of the reasons why Rook Matthews Sayer sells more homes in the region than any other estate agent. GoogleI went with Alistair Bowman for my first house buy a few years back, I took out the lifetime cover and as such he's just also helped me renew my mortgage deal for no extra cost. He made the whole process very easy and painless, couldn't recommend him enough! 10/10!
