Wycke Place, Maldon. Amazing!

I cannot think of a better way to buy or sell a property!From the first time I saw the advertising boards go up for Wycke Place and registered my interest on the Crest Nicholson website, everyone has been so friendly and helpful. I chose to use the part exchange scheme which has been fantastic and zero hassle. So smooth and effortless. The choice of properties at Wycke Place is great and with the help of Rachel, I chose and reserved my dream home. Rachel has been by my side every step of the way from the initial reservation, advising me when I was choosing fixtures and fittings, walking me around the plot, scheduling visits to meet the site managers right down to sending build progress photos every single week.Rachel especially, but the whole sales team at Wycke Place are always available to answer my daft questions and to advise openly and honestly. I honestly can’t have asked for a better experience. Thankyou so much!!

I just about didn't buy one.

My wife and I bought a new home in Highlands Park, Henley on Thames. But we just about didn't after reading all the terrible reviews. Despite this we took the plunge and so far, only a week, we have been absolutely delighted. The house is beautiful, some small snags that have been courteously and very quickly remedied.Helen Niles was fantastic as was Tom, the site manager. Nothing is too much trouble. The experience of the other residents I have met so far has been similar to mine. Perhaps we just got a good estate, but I will update if things deteriorate.

The brilliant Lesley and Darren at ClaybourneWanted to briefly share our experience and have to say that from the word go its been floorless journey. I employ a lot of people and I am in business with many more I would say I have learnt how to recognize false people and genuine people. Leslie was so warm so welcoming and so genuine my partner and I had been shocked at how unprofessional and uninterested all the other sales teams were that we encountered at various other builders it actually became a bit of a running joke between us during the time we were looking to buy, thankfully that all changed when we walked into the Crest sales office in Steeple Claydon.Leslie and Darren the site manager demonstrated incredible communication throughout the process I can honestly say I never waited more than 1 hour for a return phone call or an email reply and obviously we had many things to do. The process was so smooth and then we came to moving day and we got the keys to our fantastic new home a brilliant plot with everything done as we asked.We will always be able to look back at that time with fond memories despite all the bad things that were going on with the pandemic and I put that down to Leslie and Darren's professionalism, work ethic, and integrity we will always be grateful to them both and to Crest

This review is for our plot at Tiptree (Nine Acres).Carol and Lucy made us very welcome from day one and still continuing to this day.Carol is very knowledgeable and any question we asked was answered without hesitation. Lucy is a trainee and again is knowledgeable without hesitation. These 2 ladies make life alot easier in our purchase with showing us the show home and all the designs and upgrades. Dont hesitate in a Crest Nicholson home. Trust me we viewed a few developers sites and this one was by far the best.

Crest Nicholson are absolutely abysmal (and that's being nice)

Crest Nicholson are absolutely abysmal, i have never seen customer service like it. They dont respond to emails or calls, its as if the customer service department is having its emails read by Stevie Wonder and the phone calls answered Beethoven. My Father was going to buy the house 3 doors down but i told him not to after the issues we have been having. Crest if you are there, please close up shop just so no one else has to go through the misery that so many people on here are experiencing.Ps. Please dont come back with your "Robot like response " have some balls and just put your hands up and fix the problems.Lots of love A very unhappy Crest home owner!!!P.S.S. i Live on the Borrows Site. Lauren at Arborfield has been great. Nice, honest lady and we have just reserved a plot. Lovely to work with someone who has an honest, friendly approach.So far we’ve been very impressed. The first visit the flat was flooded but on the second viewing we had an explanation from the site manager who was nice to deal with. Cannot wait to proceed with our purchase and I trust they are a good company to work with. I hope this feedback is passed to Lauren... she was informative and not pushy which was much appreciated.

Westvale Park - Site Shut Down Since Oct 2023 - Buyer Beware!

Westvale Park - Horley, Surrey.The development of Westvale Park in Horley Surrey has been shut down by the local authority since October 2023 and is yet to be reopened.This is due to Crest not having fulfilled an obligation to build a community build, something they had forewarning of.There are a number of buyers caught in the mess that Crest have created.I have been waiting to complete on a fully constructed house since October 2023 and month on month I am being lied to by the developer leading me to believe legal work had been completed to lift the restriction on completions, this was not the case at all. I have asked for details and transparency throughout this saga but have been fobbed off at each turn. It is only recently that I began reaching out to the MD, copying in the CEO of Crest, that I have begun to receive details. Having said this, there has been no regard to the distress and inconvenience caused by Crest and the impact to the buyer for a delay of what is now at least seven months (on a fully constructed house)!!Proceed with Crest at your own risk, they have no regard for customers, that has been proven to me time and time again throughout this, all they care about is the bottom line, no respect for the buyer who is spending extortionate sums of money. Crest could have eased the situation by being transparent and taking responsibility for the situation they have put buyers in but they have chosen to treat customers with contempt.

I moved into a Crest Nicholson property at Campbell Wharf in March and have been absolutely blown away with the service they have offered. My apartment is everything I could have dreamt of. The finish on my property is perfect and I have the pleasure of overlooking a beautiful private courtyard. Unless you want to be waiting 80+ minutes to get out of your estate due to the construction companies poor planning of new builds onto main roads meaning they then have to dig up half of it creating roadworks that create tons and tons of traffic don’t bother!

Can’t recommend Lauren, Hazel and the entire team at The Rowans highly enough. From the moment we walked through the door of the site office, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable.
