Absolute worst estate agents! Took our 6 months rent upfront told us we could move into the property only to be told 5 hours after we were due to get the keys that we weren’t allowed to have the property after all! We had paid for removals and were literally sitting outside the house only to be mucked about for the entire day. Very disappointing and if we could give them zero stars we would!

Dishonest, incompetent, the last 18 months have been infuriating stressful and costly, systemic failures in their property management team, did not manage the property licensing process, Help2 Rent tenant, let the H2R rent guarantee expire, so no rent cover and tenant in significant arrears, a personal data breach, lost keys, among a litany of failures. Avoid this company at all costs look around do t be fooled by the size of this company, it’s size dwarfs its ability to manage a single property with competence or integrity.

GoogleI have dealt with a quite a few estate agents in the past but none of them can compare with the excellent professional and personal service I recently received from the Kirkby-in-Ashfield branch of Bairstow Eves throughout the sale of my house. The initial review, followed by a realistic valuation, helpful advice, and easy to understand options for conveyancing were performed by Simon, the Branch Lister. The viewings and sale procedures were organised by Branch Manager, Lesley, ably assisted by Sales Negotiator, Jo. I was kept regularly updated and all my queries were answered immediately. The formalities progressed without any hitches, and the outcome was a successful, stress free, sale., Everybody happy! I could not have asked for anything more. Many thanks.

While in the process of purchasing a property i had my mortgage adviser and solicitor, but the agent pressured me into using their services by stating multiple times on the phone the seller would rather the buyer use their services. After the third time i was pressured into saying yes because in all the telephone conversations i was not getting anywhere until I said yes.The mistake I made was having all this conversation in a telephone conversation instead of emails. Their complaint department just threw the case under the bus because I had no evidence and their telephone conversations were not recorded.I avoid this company and their services.

GoogleWe are buying a property through bairstowe.kirkby in ashfield. Lesley and jo are brilliant helpful and nothing is too much for them they arent even working for us. I would use them again if ever I moved again. Jo has took us to see our property three times even though we know how busy she is. GoogleWe recently sold our home through Bairstow and had a lot of dealings with both Holly and Lesley. They've both been amazing, as what was a stressful time for us, they made it bearable by doing all the leg work. They gave us regular updates and were always there when we needed them. On several occasions my husband and I were confused with regards to some of the paperwork via solicitors and we've been able to just walk in without an appointment and Holly and Lesley talked us through it. They really are an asset to the company. And once our property had sold they had effectively done their job but they were still there, helping us through the process of buying our dream home even though we weren't buying through them, they did all the chasing. Also Matt from Countrywide had been brilliant in helping us with our mortgage application and we've been able to have a laugh and a joke, he's always in good spirits and really helped us feel at ease with it all. All 3 make a fantastic team and Bairstow are the only estate agents we would ever recommend. Thanks so much. You're all stars.

GoogleThere are estate agents who say they can and there are those who actually can! The team ( and they are very much a team) are proactive, communcative and determined. Information and communication is their forte but the follow up, the checking with buyer and lawyers make Laura ,Holly and Lesley an efficient team. Not the cheapest agent but you get what you pay for, and I paid for a sale in a difficult market ,and thats what I received, cant ask more than that. Would I use them again.. You betcha! TrustpilotSpying on you asking personal information has non acting agents.
They call you without saying who they are spying and acting like it’s your estate agent selling your home that you have chosen. I’m positive they are breaking data protection has they impersonate another acting estate agents. It’s not until you say can you conform who you are when you’ll be surprised to see it’s a spying estate agent asking for personal confidential information from you. I’ve recorded the calls to send onto the ombudsman has it’s against regulations.

Terrible company and horrendous service. Hard to sell a house when the agent doesn't pitch up for viewings, has fake customers who don't pitch up for viewings either, doesn't return calls, terrible photos and asks for our own photos, bad write up, don't update the sales video with the new photos post makeovers, refuses to release the seller from a contract despite repeated requests due to terrible service and wants payment for doing nothing useful! Release MR Portman immediately so a proper agent can sell the house!

Southgate Branch, if I could give zero stars I would. They did not even send anyone round to the house when a viewer was coming. I had to show them round. Sometimes they told the client they would meet outside our house at the agreed time but would not show up. I use to see people wandering up and down the street and had to go out and ask them in. We were even told off for turning up at the office to speak with them being told we should have booked an appointment. Hopeless!!
