We can't thank the team enough!

While our house purchase didn't go as smoothly as we'd have liked, Melissa Denton and Eleanor Holgate, as well as the rest of the Holden Copley team, were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to help us to complete the process! There were many road blocks we came up against, but the Holden Copley team was prepared at every twist and turn, and their communication was second to none. I don't think we'd have completed with any other estate agent! We can't thank Melissa and the team enough for all they've done for us!

Holden Copley as a company is great. I found their members of staff courteous and reassuring in my encounters with them mainly on the phone. Adam Walker-Brown has been one of our contacts in our dealings with Holden Copley. I find him to be calm and welcoming. He is patient and always willing to go through things until it becomes clear. He would go extra mile to chase things up and give the necessary push to make sure that things get completed. His support continues to be quite commendable even in the post completion period.

I had Melissa as my sales progression and honestly I do not know what I would have done without her! She kept me sane! Holden Copley manages a small BTL portfolio for me, and on this latest let, I was teamed up with Elliott Bradshaw from their Lettings Team at Arnold. Mine is a corporate portfolio. I recently had an opportunity to introduce our company secretary to Elliott as he was then in the process of finalising my latest let. Although I am writing this review, I am sure my company secretary will be in full agreement. Holden Copley’s strengths are its massive market awareness and intelligence, refusal to compromise with compliance, and highly trained team to deliver its services. All this is under the corporate culture of service. Their staff are fully trained and thus the risk to a landlord for a compliance failure is minimal. To all self-managed landlords in the Nottingham area, I say, “Here is a great value alternative. Why be on your own” Elliott is one of at least 5 people I have previously dealt with and he is first class. Courteous, prompt, patient, and knows his stuff. I have never had to wait more than a maximum of a couple of hours for an email response. Telephone calls are taken straight away or promptly returned. Thus, Elliott is very confidence-inspiring, leaving one with a feeling that my portfolio is competent hands. Thank you, Elliott.

We requested a rental valuation from 3 Letting Agents. We chose Holden Copley to fully manage our property because from the initial visit, through to the photos, we found all of the staff professional and very helpful.Communication throughout the process was excellent as they always answered questions very quickly on the phone and via emails.Peace of mind and the chance of finding an agent going the extra mile with vetting to find a "good tenant" is something we look for. Luke, the local agent, was able to articulate this better than the other agents. Luke made efforts to understand our needs as landlords and explored the types of tenants that may suit us whilst at the same time setting realistic expectations. We found his knowledge of the local rental market was equally excellent and reassuring.Luke was helpful, professional, and friendly in suggesting changes that would make the property more appealing to prospective tenants. We agreed time scales and he provided us contact details for workmen for additional support should we need it. We would definitely consider using Holden Copley to manage our future rentals.

As a tenant I usually find estate agents to be very bad/uninterested in their job. But not Holden Copley! I rented a flat directly from them and they were a dream to deal with, especially Lexy. I was in a newly renovated flat that unfortunately had a few issues with, but they were always handled immediately and professionally and was never made to feel like I was inconveniencing them at all (like the estate agent i have now) The flat ended up being a big small for my needs so had to move. I recently viewed a property with Holden Copley. At the viewing, the letting agent, Josh was honestly fantastic. He made time to talk through my questions and even stayed late to show me and my partner images of a couple of other listings they had becoming available that might also work for me. It was one of the best experiences I have had when viewing a property. However that is where the good feedback ends, the next day I had a phone call from Elliot asking me for feedback, however I work full time and was unable to answer the call at the time. I put in an application for the property and received an automated response acknowledging my application - great! But, that was the last response I got. I sent several emails since I put in that application and haven’t received a single response to any of them. I even sent the feedback Elliot had asked for in a voicemail via email as I hadn’t been able to get the call and again did not even receive an acknowledgment let alone a response. The last email I sent was an email asking if someone could please respond to any of my previous emails and nothing, I viewed the property about 3 weeks ago and have sent about 4/5 follow up emails. This is a terrible way to treat people, I could only assume that my application for the property was declined, my request for feedback on why that may have happened went ignored. To not inform someone of the outcome of an application is unprofessional. I had been hoping that I might be able to book viewings for some of the other properties Josh showed me as I’d really like to move but that has been impossible as I cannot get any response. I have Autism and ADHD and I struggle to speak on the phone, being able to ask questions is really important for me when making a big decision like moving. I think Holden Copley really need to do better.

Brooke and the team in Mapperley

Brooke and the team in Mapperley have been excellent. Always enjoyed dealing with them when searching for our home. When we found somewhere, we submitted an offer quite late in the day and weren't expecting to hear anything until the day after, but Brooke went the extra mile, surely working late in order to get a response from the sellers which really meant a lot to us.
