Belvoir have been my first lettings agent in the UK and I have had an excellent experience with them. When I started searching for a flat to rent, I was worried that it will be a lot of hassle and time-consuming task given my hectic job. But Belvoir ensured that the whole process from letting the property to move-in was pretty smooth. They were there every time I needed support and had any queries. On my move-in the property was well cleaned and fresh. I am already recommending Belvoir to the new recruits in our company who are moving-in to Andover and I look forward to hopefully letting my own property with them one day!

I read somewhere that estate agents are generally regarded below used car salesmen. (sorry used car salesmen!) for honesty and integrity. and sadly have been on the receiving end. Belvoir are the Gleaming exception, All the staff from the top down are ultra professional, helpful, honest, and I have no worries about them managing my properties. Their tenant selection criteria works like a charm, I have never had a problem with Belvoir selected tenants, ever! To return to my automotive analogy, This company is the Rolls Royce of estate agents. I would not consider using any other estate agent. Gold star to Emily Fryer for an exceptional condition report, and Courtney for re negotiating a new lease with exceptional tenants.

Absolutely excellent

Belvoir were excellent. we were quite distressed after travelling 3hours to Cambridge and not finding a house. As well as calming us down they listened to our requirements and came up with a suitable list of properties, they were even able to negotiate a different end date to suit our requirements better. This was a example of the great relationship they seemed to have with their landlords by working closely with them which gave us confidence that they knew the landlords were of good character and that they would be on top of any problems that may arise. The costs were clear and transparent and were explained fully to us. The staff were friendly and approachable and made such an effort with us, we really can’t say enough good things about them.

I have recently been served notice to vacate the property I am renting from Belvoir, the reason being, I quote: "the new owner would prefer vacant possession and has asked us to issue your notice." A few days after said curt email, I received a handwritten note through my letterbox from the aforementioned new owner, asking me to call him. When I did, he told me that he did NOT want or require me to vacate and had informed Belvoir of this, and had even asked if he could talk to me through them to discuss whether I wanted to stay. They had refused to put us in contact, hence the handwritten note, and did nothing whatsoever to contact me to tell me of the landlord-to-be's supposed change of mind. If he DID want me to leave and changed his mind, Belvoir's staff saw no need to let me know and were content to let me stress over the sudden need to find a new home. If he never wanted me to leave in the first place, then I was outright categorically lied to by Belvoir, for reasons they are at present refusing to discuss. Overall appalled by the situation, and until I get some explanation for the above debacle I would advise any prospective tenants to stay away from Belvoir Andover - this sort of underhanded duplicitous behaviour is unpleasant enough at the best of times, but is not something you want to mess around with when it comes to where you live.

First time buying made easy

As a first time buyer, I was so unaware of what was required to buy a house. Luckily for me, I met Lucy at Belvoir Andover. Not only did she find me my first house on the first set of viewings, she went above and beyond her role - finding me and finiacial advisor and solicitor. She was always available to answer questions and address my concerns, and was the key reason the whole chain did not fall down at the last minute - again going above and beyond, phoning round and getting solicitors and sellers talking to one another. Buying a house will always be a traumatic experience; Lucy and Belvoir Andover just made it a lot, lot easier. Will definitely use again in future when I look to find my next property (although I’ll not be rushing to move just yet!).
