*****Highly Recommend Amersham Hunters Estate agency.***** I was planning to buy my second house and was under the impression the process would be straightforward as I have knowledge of buying a house(from my first house). However, I realised the market, process and demand has changed. Hunters Estate agency was the first one I met when my search began in Amersham. All team members gave us the right advice on time. The amount of effort, time, and expert level knowledge they have provided me through the process is unbelievable. Obviously, making an informed decision is the most important part of buying a home. But personally, as being “emotionally” invested as well in buying a home, having someone who properly set, manage, and came through with expectations was such a lifesaver and made me feel so at ease throughout the entire process. I truly appreciated Hunter Estates agency input and relied on it heavily. This is an invaluable quality to have as a service provider and not everyone has it. It’s easy to push paper and get the signatures, but they are really focused on making sure we are satisfied through the process and with the outcome. I have only great things to say about Hunters Middleton branch! From the very first phone call right up to exchanging contacts They have been beyond brilliant. I absolutely loved the pictures of my house and the write up most definitely did my house justice. My house sold within 4 days and I was over the moon with the price!Nicole was the shining star for me- she kept in daily contact and was the most reassuring and helpful person every single step of the process. Disappointed is an understatement..

To say we’re disappointed with the level of communication from the Horncastle Branch with Michael and Susan Noonan is an understatement and the level of service is a far cry from Michael's commitment to customer experience.Researching this branch shows multi-occasions that this activity has happened here.If you’re viewing a property with the intent to buy, don’t expect them to tell you if any other parties are interested. They’ll just pull it from under your feet along with any visions or excitement of a future you had in said house.Viewed a property two weeks ago, following the viewing we had a really positive conversation with Susan in the office expressing great interest, no more than a week later sold to another buyer with no communication. It would have been professional and courteous to reach out to the buyer but more so to the seller, as I’m certain they would like to have known of other interest. Susan and Michael took away any opportunity or chance to put in any offers, resulting in many wasted hours.I wouldn’t usually leave a review; but the tone in which Susan delivered the news was blunt, lacked any sort of empathy and very closed, to date I am still waiting for a reply to my email which I can only assume has been ignored.We will steer clear of this company for future sales and purchases, knowing that their priority doesn’t appear to be with either buyer or seller.Happy to receive a call or email to discuss our experience with you.

Awful. Incredibly disorganised. Would establish inspections and never turn up, would constantly email about overdue rent that wasn't overdue. Would pass the blame constantly. Attempted to raise my rent by a "reasonable" £200 a month six months into my tenancy which can only happen every 12 months and cannot be more than the CPI price index; they failed on both counts. Renting is honestly awful, and these clowns pray upon the anxiety of insecurity to get what they want.I have bought a house now, I wish all renters the luck to buy their own homes one day so we never have to deal with letting agents like these ever again.

Avoid This Agency, Completely Fraudulent and Untrustworthy If I could give zero stars, I would. I rented my property through this agency as a family home, but they have illegally turned it into an unlicensed HMO without my consent. Despite repeated promises from their agent Preeti that an HMO licence would be obtained, it never was. My rent has not been paid for over amThree months, and my calls and messages are now being ignored. The tenants contact me directly because the agents refuse to take responsibility. I was told I would be reimbursed for repair costs, I provided all invoices, but not a single penny has been repaid. The condition of my property now is appalling compared to how it was handed over. I have photos showing the before and after, it’s heartbreaking. After losing my father suddenly last year, this house held many memories, all of which have been completely destroyed by their negligence and deceit. Do not trust this company with your property. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and exploit landlords. I strongly urge others to stay away, they will promise everything and deliver nothing.

I would completely recommend avoiding…

I would completely recommend avoiding this agency, they are slow to respond, have no information ready at hand and this has possibly been the most annoying process of purchasing a property with them. There was a lot of missing information that I was not provided and they basically only know how to respond when they need something. You will call them and they say they'll get back to you and just disappear. Avoid if possible.

Sales progression team lied and not very professional.

We are in the process of buying a bungalow at the moment and the sales progression team told us the vendor had been to sort the electrics and service the boiler..previous tennants had apparently got in debt so electric was cut off..Hunters lied saying this would be sorted. A second viewing 2 weeks later and a wasted 120 mile journey confirmed nothing had been sorted. When we told them we were disappointed with them we were told to leave the property.

Agent Harj was full of fake promises

Agent Harj was full of fake promises. Although he was all smiles and seemed friendly, the minute we left after our viewing he didn’t return texts or calls and shyed away from any contact. After several calls to the agents I finally managed to find out myself that the property had been given to someone else, rather than them calling me to inform me I had to dig this information out of them which was frustrating. Refused due to having children, unlawful discrimination

Contacted this agency regarding a view of 3-bedroom house. The advertisement contained no restrictions regarding families with children. During the phone call, the first question asked was whether we have children. Once this was confirmed, we were immediately refused solely on that basis. I asked several times why this restriction was not stated in the advertisement, but I received no explanation or answer. Refusing access to rented accommodation because a family has children constitutes unlawful discrimination under the Equality Act 2010. Letting agents are legally required to comply with this legislation, regardless of landlord preference. This experience raises serious concerns about the agency’s compliance with UK equality law. I am sharing this publicly so other families are aware.

Bad communication

I have been trying to contact them for 4 months in regards to my flat and contract but they are absolutely appalling at responses and making things clear and helpful for those they are letting to. They have sent me in so many different directions on who to contact and have stopped responding to me within one week of me first contacting them. On top of this it took them weeks to respond and report to maintenance issues, and when they did the response I got was rude and abrupt. As well as that they issues weren't resolved fully resulting in me feeling uneasy in what was meant to be my own space. Absolutely awful service and wouldn't even consider letting/renting from them again.

Pathetic estate agency! The guy who is showing properties mixing up addresses and you end up viewing a different one. If you make an offer they show a very keen interest in person then no-one ever comes back to you. The property owners will never get to find out who made offers and they may just losing out on perfectly good tenants…!They do not even talk to each other within the office to relay interest.You get a bunch of promise, but that is all!Laura is useless!

Very unprofessional and rude agents

Very unprofessional and rude agents. They repeatedly called me while I was at work, and when I finally got back to them, they booked a viewing for the next day and told me to meet outside the property at the scheduled time. When I arrived and called their office, they initially lied, saying they would sort it out and call me back. After waiting 20 minutes with no update, I called again, only for them to blame me for going without having received an email confirmation, instead of acknowledging that their agent cancelled the appointment without notifying me. Overall, very unprofessional.
