The worst experience I ever had!!!! I view the flat, had to travel all the way there to check, but I was happy because I liked it. I said that I will take it, I spent 4 days filling different forms, making “rent passport”, going through the checks and only when I started to ask how my application is going they said that someone else rented. Really?? I refused going for another viewings, I refused applying for other flats that I saw from another agencies!!! I would never ever recommend this place!!!!

We had the worst renting experience in the UK. Chancellors agency lied to us for getting a few stuff done in the flat before signing the contract, they never discussed those things with the landlord, we signed the contract and moved in and the flat was not professionally cleaned and not freshly painted as stated in the contract. They didn’t care about these problems saying it’s landlord fault and letting us to deal with the problem. On top of it at the beginning of the conflict they seemed to take our part asking the landlord to respect the contract but after a phone call between the landlord and manager Riley Drake-Smith they changed their mind and jump on the landlord side (who breached the contract) advising us if we don’t reach an agreement with the landlord to search for a new property. So because of the agency and their dishonest actions, in full pandemic, before Christmas, we had to search for a flat and move again, even though we’ve just moved to that property. So they didn’t care about us one second and they think it’s a normal thing to move house every month just because of their poor services, lies, unprofessional and dishonest behaviour. I would not recommend to anyone this agency. The whole experience was a nightmare.

I would like to say a big thank you to Emma Aquino for being very helpful and organising our new kitchen floor being laid. Really happy with it. She is also very quick to answer any queries we have.

Phoned up with a general query regarding getting a mortgage and spoke to Paul Folley who was really helpful! Really happy that they are open a bit later as well so I could reach them outside of work hours!

Your company overcharged me. The outstanding amount was £91.20 but I calculated as £61.18 so the difference is approximately £30. It's not the amount that I'm concerned with, but how you deal with your customers. It's not right that you agree a fee with me then go back on your word! You didn't reply to my email and sent another invoice demanding £91.20 without disputing my calculation which was agreed with your letting management! Not replying to my calculation and then threatening me with legal action is absolutely disgraceful, so this review is justified.

Austyn Is absolutely fantastic. Since we walked through the door any issues we’ve had (and there’s been a few! ) Austyn has sorted them out so quickly and promptly and kept myself and my partner up to date with all developments. His friendliness and professionalism really does put me at ease!

Very poor estate agents, takes ages to arrange viewings, agents don’t know important details about the properties so just talk about themselves the whole time, the lie about market interest in properties to try and rush you into a decision, will be avoiding and properties for sale that they are the agents for

Poor communication. Slow at getting things done. Don’t come back to you. Bad photography and then when we tried to exit our contract under the cooling off period they told us this was not relevant as we signed online and not in person!!! Would never recommend anybody to think about using them. Very unprofessional company. Very bad experience. Utterly disgusted with the company as a whole. So we had no viewings the whole time it was marketed. and now they are trying to sting us for £400!!! This has left a really bitter taste in my mouth. I know a lot of people in the area looking to sell and will definitely not be recommending you to anyone. They also left a full blown photograph of our 4 year old daughter online on the details and wondered why we asked for the property details to be removed from the website !!!

It’s a shame to read so many poor reviews when I have received excellent service from my property manager Tegan Ellis who has been trying to help sort out a repair for an oven. She has been incredibly helpful, polite and got the job done.

Wow! What amazing customer service I received! Being a first time buyer I was pretty clueless and as soon as I stepped into your Amersham office I was put immediately at ease. A lovely lady called Lizzi registered my details and really took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for. I was even offered a no obligation appointment from their in house financial advisor. I didn't need one but thought it was fantastic to be offered one. Lizzi also introduced me to her Manager Helen who took the time to explain a bit about the property market and answered some questions I had. She was very knowledgable and reassured me that should I find a suitable property with them I would be in excellent hands!!

My contact was largely with Matthew Olive and Helen Boyd who were helpful and professional each time. It is not easy collating information from the various parties involved and they managed to answer questions and convey messages as promptly as possible. I was particularly inpressed with their understanding of our need to know what was happening by returning calls even if information was scant at that time. I would recommend Chancellors and would use them again if/when we need to find another property.

I recently sold my flat with Chancellors. I can highly recommend the efficiency and professionalism of the whole of the Amersham branch. I would particularly like to mention Matt Olive who was absolutely superb at all stages. He was always prompt and proactive with anything that needed to be done, helping to secure the best possible price for the property and a quick exchange. Having experienced other companies in the past, there really is no comparison and, whether buying or selling, I believe that Chancellors are easily the most modern, efficient and reliable agents around. I would highly recommend this company.

Very dishonest and unprofessional letting agents - possibly the worst of all. They have no clue what they are doing. Being a landlord for 10 years, I have never seen anyone like them and would definitely avoid them at all costs. Unfortunately, I had to learn it the hard way which costed me 2 months rent and loss of personal time chasing rent arrears from a tenant all because of their fault which they agreed to but gone back on it and denied to pay the losses.

The worst Estate Agents I have ever dealt with in 10 years. So unprofessional and no one seems to have the slightest clue. I am constantly chasing for updates and reports that are outstanding. I am confused as to what I am paying for. Would definitely not renew my contract.

I have genuinely never encountered such bad customer service. Once an offer accepted they literally don't care about their clients. They don't keep in contact or chase up the buyers and they hand you over to a separate office so noone seems to know what's going on.

Absolutely horrendous. If you're ok with breach of data protection and disclosure of your personal finances to your ex-husband, hey, go with Chancellors. They are SO inept, unbelievably arrogant, inordinately incompetent and even with numerous court demands, they refused to engage. At your peril.

Recommendation for Jenny Dowden for her professional conduct and caring demeanor. She has been highly attentive and swift-acting throughout the process of me letting my property. She clearly takes great personal pride in delivering the best level of service possible and is a real asset to the Chancellor's team.
