Tom Hallam is a fantastic mortgage consultant, Who I would highly recommend. He is very professional and extremely helpful. He secured me the mortgage I wanted which I am over the moon about. This is an edit as I was asked by Hall and Benson to remove this review which I refused to do, even though I was accused of trying to defame the business. This is a true account of our experience. I would not recommend Hall and Benson Heanor. Corey attended to carry out the valuation. He was very positive stating he will have no issues in selling our property. Promised the earth, delivered nothing. The photos and write up we can't fault however, the Communication was non existant unless I contacted them. It felt like, as our house had no interest in the first couple of weeks, in our opinion, it was put to the bottom of the pile and ignored. We had no viewings in the time we were with them. Corey did tell me he possibly had an interested buyer but never followed it up. They also lost my door key but refuted this saying my husband never gave it to them. In a telephone conversation today, again he said we did not give him a door key, but I know we did. We were basically called liars. When I cancelled my contract with them, the person I spoke to said it was very worrying as he had no details and knew nothing of the property. They charge over £3500 for the sale of the property however, Corey stated to me however, he has spent £500 on advertising my property. How is £3500 justified.

Danielle Stapleton is a rock star! My wife Sue and I were referred to her by the also amazingly helpful and knowledgeable Richard McNamara, also of Hall and Benson. Danielle showed a welcome sense of urgency in arranging our visit the same day it was suggested by Mr. McNamara. When we met at her office at Hall and Benson Heanor, Miss Stapleton proved herself welcoming and personable, friendly, expert in the field of home financing, and open with respect to avenues of financing other than Hall and Benson. My wife and I have just relocated here from America and Miss Stapleton was able to provide us a very good understanding of the options available to us. I've given her 5 stars but would give more if they were available! Rock Star! I strongly recommend you give her a call if you are in need of a home mortgage. Your time will be well spent.

I cannot speak highly enough about Kimberley Gilkinson- the mortgage advisor. From the very first phone call to arrange a meeting to apply for mortgage in principle Kimberley has been VERY supportive and professional. Kimberley has always made herself available, has been flexible, supported me through the whole process of looking for a property, applying for a mortgage, all the paperwork, getting quotes for all the necessary insurance etc-and all with a smile on her face.
