Buying a home can be a stressful experience, but Louise, Rebecca, and the entire team at Jackson-Stops made the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. I put my house up for sale with Jackson Stops having used them successfully on 2 previous occasions. Anthony initially came round to view the property and within a week the sale was live. Nick was my point of contact and he accompanied the viewers. Within ten days I received an offer at just below the asking price. Asked to view a property on Bures Road and was told I had to provide proof of funds before even being allowed a viewing. I understand proof of funds is needed at offer stage but demanding it just to view a house is unnecessary and comes across as rude and intrusive; the tone felt more like an interrogation. And for clarity, questioning an asking price is not the same as being unable to afford a property. In a previous transaction, we declined to overpay for a house we did not believe was worth its asking price, and it later sold for significantly less. That is a valuation judgement (a mistake by the same agent), not a funding issue. In any case, the interaction felt dismissive, rather than professional. Plenty of other agents manage to handle high-value properties professionally without treating potential buyers like time wasters. So choosing to take my business elsewhere.

Wouldn’t recommend! I have raised several concerns about one of their tenants, to Helen & the MD but nothing has been done. Emails are ignored or replied to months later with inadequate excuses, since they moved in in December 2025! I am writing this review at 4 am, having been kept up until 11 pm with the 8 year old child screaming like a banshee again and now being woken up with him banging around the house!
