From start to finish we were kept informed at every stage with regard to the selling of the property. We were informed of the situation with the buyers etc. He was extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
Even if James was unavailable, the rest of the team were very knowledgeable and tried to answer any questions that I raised in a polite and friendly manner.
Mike Chung was the first person we met, He was up to date with the prices of similar properties in the area. He had lovely manners and was respectful of my mum's flat. The flat sold for full asking price which is all down to James and Admove. They surely went above and beyond.

GoogleAdMove are by far the best estate agents we've ever used. Our agent, Charlie Done, managed to get a much higher price for our house (87 Eldercroft Road) than others (£90,000 higher!), which is incredible. He wasn't a typical estate agent either. He is down to earth, very intelligent, friendly (but not forced) and answers all questions (no matter how complicated or daft) pragmatically and quickly. As a business they were with us every step of the way, supporting us through a number of fallen through sales, keeping our buyer content whilst the timeframe stretched for them and Charlie was amazing at keeping communication with both sides regular and informative. There were hardly any times we needed to ring him for something because he'd already phoned us and told us before we needed to. Moving day was very simple and quick due to AdMove and in future we wouldn't use anybody else. They really are the best estate agents we've ever found. Charlie Done was extremely helpful and professional at all stages of the process as were his colleagues. Communication was excellent and always prompt which really helped keep the sale flowing smoothly and quickly. GoogleJames Leake and the team at Admove handled the sale of my property Woodfield Road, Altrincham this year and i was really impressed with the level of service provided. We got the price we wanted - happy where it was relative to market rate - and how this was negotiated. Buyers were happy too - which is key for a sale to go through. But what makes Admove stand out is that when we came up against problems everything was dealt with really professionally, and most importantly - straight away - by James and Admove. We had problems with solicitors and management companies and all sorts - but it was James and Admove that kept things going - the only people we could rely on in the whole chain of people involved. James was always on the phone - and pushing things forward when some people needed a push. This was the first time in a sale / purchase i came across so many issues - and it's the first time i have occasion to praise an estate agent - but they were far more use than my solicitors and the whole thing probably wouldn't have gone through without them. Very good at keeping everyone on board, informed, and feeling that things were making progress. I'd definitely recommend Admove to sell / purchase a property - with so many virtual estate agents out there now, and so many traditional hight street options - I'd say that Admove are head and shoulders above them - providing a brilliant service and going the extra mile to keep their customers happy. GoogleDisappointing experience - wish I’d chosen differently
I instructed Admove to sell my late father’s house in Lymm and opted for their upfront fee package. In hindsight, I regret this decision. Once they were paid, it felt like they had no incentive to push for the best outcome. I didn’t feel like they were on my side at any point in the process.
The main agent came across as negative and dismissive from the start - more focused on telling us to drop the price than on actually selling the house. This continued even when we were getting regular interest and viewings. In the end, I genuinely believe their advice and approach cost us thousands of pounds.
They put incorrect information about the amount of parking spaces for the house on Rightmove, which must have put off hundreds of potential buyers. Even after we photographed the house with cars parked in the spaces they didn't correct the Rightmove information and they kept on insisting that they were right and that we were wrong, even though we grew up in the house and have parked outside it for our whole lives.
They also had a habit of speaking in corporate jargon rather than just being straight with us as people. The tone was impersonal, robotic, and often pushy. Communication didn’t feel open or collaborative - more like we were being managed rather than supported. And on at least one occasion I caught them lying to me.
One of their female team members was better at communicating but still there was no rapport and she also used the fake corporate speak instead of normal human interaction.
Overall, the experience left me deeply frustrated and disappointed.
I wouldn’t use the upfront fee package again, and I wouldn’t recommend Admove to anyone looking for an agent who will genuinely advocate for them.

When selling our house with admove the directors had their friends put the best offer forward but didn’t tell us and advised they would be the best for a quick sale.Unknowingly we listened, this then went into a battle with their solicitor requesting irrelevant information at additional cost to us. When requesting help from admove we were met with lies and arguments 6months later after almost loosing our future home we pulled out and fired admove. Completed the sale 3months later no hassle.

Hi Lee, as discussed numerous times last year, the reason for this sale collapsing wasn’t down to anything under our roof, it was due to lease issues and the rising ground rent meaning that the mainstream lender (Halifax) would not issue the mortgage offer, until a deed of variation was in place. This was also confirmed to you by the buyers’ solicitors who are a reputable and local Lymm firm (Howard Fitton), who clearly stated the issues tied to the property.
The accusations you have made are far from the truth, and therefore we are more than happy to express our side of the story. We have sold thousands of properties over the years dealing with all types of clients and to be quite ‘honest’, you were certainly one of the worst. When you decided to withdraw your partners property from us, there was a sense of relief within our sales team given the type of calls received regarding a matter which was out of our control. It was obviously unfortunate to have lost the sale, as we dedicated many hours of hard work incurring significant staff and marketing costs in the process. To be clear, it was in our best interest to complete on the sale in order to receive our commission for our efforts.
For those reading this response, Lee is an extremely difficult individual and wasn’t pleasant to any member of staff as soon as things didn’t go his way which led to him also changing solicitors and blaming them for the legal issue tied to the house. We initially sold the property to your partner (legal owner) and having returned to our agency to sell; we believe this speaks some truth on our service. In relation to our Director being ‘friends’ with the buyer, this again isn’t truthful. Those who are familiar with the Lymm area shall understand that it is a close community, with those born and raised in the area being familiar with many locals. Several members of our team are from Lymm and having been through the local educational systems, it is fair to say we are all familiar with a lot of people from Lymm.
With your partners property being partly owned by the council, we were given a marketing price set by them through a chartered surveyor, with this being a fixed price for the house to be sold at with only specific criteria of buyer being able to proceed (For E.g. one of the criteria’s being first time buyers only). We had multiple offers at asking price for the property, with you being given the choice to select a buyer. For clarification, our Director didn’t speak with you until months into the sale when there were legal issues, and we made no apparent preference for you to select your chosen buyers.
To conclude this matter, we are confident we did a good job marketing the house, finding buyers, updating everyone throughout, perseverance to assist with the legal issues and most importantly, tolerating yourself.
