Excellent advice and constant support from everyone at Woodlands estate agents, they kept me up to date all the time. The sale of my mothers house depended on grant of probate, and woodlands supported and advised me in chasing the solicitor dealing with this, without the help from Woodlands, I am sure the sale would have fallen through, which would have been extremely annoying, for me and the purchaser. I really can not recommend woodlands highly enough.

Right from the start Woodlands were amazing throughout the process. Not only did they help find the right buyer for our property, they also helped us find our dream purchase. Once they tied up the chain, David then chased the process through to completion with weekly updates from solicitors and the chains position. I would 100% recommend them and this is the second time I have purchased a property with them. Iain

The service I received from this estate agency was above board from the get go. I would not hesitate recommend them to anyone in and around the area because they will do their absolute best to help. The process of renting a flat was made easy by Woodlands Estate Agents - from viewing, approvals, paying the deposit and advance, moving and getting settled. As a first time tenant in the UK, my experience was smooth and no stress at all. Kudos to the team at Woodlands especially to Sam Arnold who made my first time renting experience an absolute breeze! 10/10 would recommend!!!

We have been very pleased with the letting service from Woodlands and when we recently decided to sell our flat, it was logical to go with them. The entire sales team were very professional, and thorough, especially Steve Franks, keeping us informed throughout. In particular, when the first two buyers pulled out the team kept going and achieved for us a bit more than we had expected. They may not be a big firm, but the quality of their work and dedication is first rate.

I recently purchased my first property via Woodlands. I cannot rate their service highly enough from the initial viewing to completion. I moved in just three days before Christmas but due to the seller’s solicitors dragging their heels as well as my own it looked unlikely I’d be able to celebrate the first Christmas with my children in our new home. The entire staff in the Redhill office had been amazing throughout but a big thanks has to go to David Norris who pulled out all the stops to get this move completed in time! I would highly recommend using Woodlands, a high level of service provided and excellent people working for them. Thanks again for everything! Dan

Usual estate agent scumbaggery. Implied a house sold for between 530-540k in a futile attempt for us to increase our offer by a considerable amount. In actuality it sold for 500k which matched our offer.

Hi Adam, Sorry you missed out on a purchase of a property that received multiple offers last year, and we are sorry you felt the need to leave that comment, as the sort of practice you described goes against everything we stand for as a business and is simply not a true reflection on what happened. The number of excellent reviews we receive is hopefully testament to that. We certainly have no recollection of any conversation of this nature taking place- “implied” or otherwise. Looking through our records, (that are auditable by trading standards), the property did receive an offer substantially higher than that offered by you, and so we would have no doubt explained a much lower offer such as yours, may not be considered, and would have encouraged you to put forward a higher offer to help you secure the property. It is also worth bearing in mind Adam, that the final agreed sale price that is exchanged on a property, can often change from that offered initially, after surveys and investigations are carried out on a property, highlighting potential issues and putting a new perspective on the true value of a property. Furthermore, sales may fall through and be re-agreed at a lower price due to a variety of reasons, and buyers positions will also be a factor in decision making, not just the amount offered. It is a shame you decided not to approach us directly for clarity initially rather than leaving a negative review, but hope this information clarifies things for you. Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss further.
