I have used White & Guard lettings over the past few years for 2 properties that I own. The service I have received has been outstanding, from finding tenants to the daily management of the properties. I was particularly impressed when a tenant left abruptly at the start of the first lockdown and they still managed to find a replacement within a few weeks during a very challenging time. Totally underhand, dishonest and lie through their back teeth. I would not trust this company people. They work hard at playing you off to get the price up. Lying about “no more viewings” while the owner considers your offer when really they are having viewings and telling people if they want it they will have to go above the asking price. Absolutely disgusting and underhand behaviour. Would never use them again!

This is the 2nd time we have used White & Guard's (Hedge End) services and as previously the end to end work ethic and eventual completion result has been both timely and beyond our expectations. The whole team were professional throughout and worked seamlessly with the our legal team. At no time were there any issues created and they kept us informed and updated if we needed to get involved with the buying chain to speed the exchange / completion negotiations. Rarely these days can you have a truly pleasurable deal between consumer and provider, W&G achieves on all counts. I suspect these people are lauded but I do not believe they are in place for the common man. Why on earth on their website do they continually display houses that are sold STC!! After hours of trawling through their pages you eventually get to the page of your affordability, only to find ALL are sold STC. You have to dig deep to find any that are for sale within your price range. These people are not the only guilty party, all of the firms in and around are guilty of the same practices. Now they have had a brainwave...Let"s pre publish houses coming onto the market via Instagram so early heads up are available for the 'right' people! So if you're of a mature age, don't have Instagram, what do you do? When eventually you navigate the rigours and traumas of Instagram via a third party phone you find contact details missing, requests for prices of property not answered at all, links not working? All in all it puts you off wanting to move. I believe the arrogance and unhelpfullness of these elite agents is damaging the industry reputation.......however not their pockets
