I can't fault the service I have recently received at Warners Solicitors from Nick Adams and Chloe Smith during the purchase of a new flat. Initially, Nick helped to secure a great purchase price and kept me well informed and updated throughout the offer process. Chloe subsequently handled the conveyancing process very professionally and efficiently and, again, kept me well advised as to the progress with the purchase at every stage. Disappointed by the service received by Jazmin (among others) at Warners. Pros: They're friendly. Cons: - There have been slopppy errors in communication, including repeatedly referencing the wrong property address and getting our names wrong in emails. Pretty basic stuff to get wrong on multiple occasions. - Also, there have been lenghy response times to emails sent in, out of office returns midway through email trails with no warning or handover from the person you're speaking with and then I have had to repeatedly prompt for updates on progress. All-in-all they've added stress to what is already a stressful process! There are quite a few positive reviews here, so probably best to view my experience along with the others, but I wouldn't be likely to recommend them or use them again. Update: Catherine at Warners definitely improved my view. As soon as soon as she took over the transaction everything went really smoothly, kept us up to date and felt like a safe pair of hands!

Just used Warners to buy our first home. As first time buyers I've heard stories from friends, about having to constantly chase solicitors and how they're the hardest part of buying a house, after going through the process I agree. The person who dealt with our case was a trainee and I understand that everyone needs to learn some how, but for the biggest purchase of our life and the first time we've done this, I wish we had someone more experienced. We had to chase for updates, emails with queries never got answered. The one time we went in, we sat in a little room for 40 minutes before they came in and saw us and this is only because I had to go out and ask what was happening. When they came in, they said their colleagues didn't tell her we were here, throwing your colleagues under the bus to save face is unprofessional in my opinion. The good side to it, was the house sale went through and anytime we had to call up, they would pick up. If I decide to move home, Warners will not be who I use.
