GoogleMy experience with Valencia and Mariem at Truepennys was vastly superior to my previous dealings with all agents in the area. They both helped massively with helping me rent a rally nice place before getting onto the property ladder, and I would recommend their way of doing business to anyone!

GoogleAttempting to find property to buy on their website using a mobile phone is so cumbersome and difficult that it puts you off engaging

GoogleFalsePenny’s After the viewing they don’t care about you anymore. I had a LOT of problems and headaches because of this agency, the worst of London (from a the main door broken, the shower not working, cold and noise coming from a broken window, not this being out fault but having to deal with because the agency wouldn’t help us) do not trust them when they say they will help, I was desperate uncountable times and had bad anxiety. Our last problem was the deposit, they wanted to keep most part of it and leave us with nothing, we needed to ask for a external check and we won the case, the agency was just trying to keep our money. DO NOT RENT WITH THIS AGENCY.

GoogleFrom all the agencies I have rented flats, this is the worst without a doubt. From hiding the landlord important things that he should’ve know, to treating the tenants really poorly, to not helping us and wanting to keep all the deposit (we claimed and after someone from outside the agency checked it we won the case) Biggest scam ever.

GoogleWould never recommend this agency, I am taking based on my own experience with Mariem; she is not willing to help the tenants and hide a lot of things from the landlord too. It is disgusting to deal with people like this, that don’t want to work or help their clients.
Hi Marta, I have looked into this matter before responding. Mariem is a very highly regarded property manager with many years experience, your review is libellous, misdirected and unacceptable. Truepenny’s have no involvement in the issue you have raised! Your security deposit was lodged with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS)- an independent, government approved scheme. The deposit return is still ongoing with the DPS. According to the 3rd party check-in and check-out reports, the flat was returned to the landlord in a state that was a lot worse than how it was received. In section 2.28 of your tenancy agreement it states that you should take precautions to keep the property in the same condition as you found it. This has been explained to all parties in various emails and several phone calls. Section 1.25 of your tenancy agreement states that deposit monies owed will be refunded to the lead tenant. You must understand that even though you are three individual people, the law in the UK treats the tenant/s as ‘jointly and severally liable’ which means that you are essentially one. I understand that there have been issues between you and your co-tenants. They need to be resolved between yourselves, it is your responsibility to come to an agreement. Giving us a one-star reviews is an incredible shame, it is misguided frustration at the wrong party.

There was a maintenance issue with the flat on the morning of my move in and the whole team rushed to get it resolved within a few hours. Madison in particular has been super friendly and helpful. GoogleI really recommend Truepenny Estate agent if you are looking to rent. Mariem Ben Khaled is one of their best agent. I almost moved out of the apartment but since she took over the management of my apartment, it has been smooth sailing. She is very professional, quick to resolve any issues raised or ensure contractors carry out repairs speedily. She is definitely the best. Kudos Truepenny, you've got a good one there!

I rented my first flat in UK flat with them and Valencia was superhelpful with covering all my questions during the process. (I believe that part of them was silly due to my unexperience). I would definetelly recommend Truepenny's for anyone who is looking for the property.

GoogleI was actively looking for a three bedrooms in late last year to January when I came across Truepenny's Estate Agent, Greenwich in mid January 2023 on Zoopla. I called and Valencia picked up and told me someone is already undergoing referencing for the same property, however, she will reach out to me if anything changes. Trust me, I didn't believe her. Few days later, she actually did got back to me and my renting process began. Since that very day till date, the team has been really supportive, they carry you along with every stage of the process, and are willing to assist where needed. I didn't know renting could be this fun until I came across Truepennys. Thank you Valencia, you're such a sweet soul. Mariem, I cannot appreciate you enough for all the support and understanding. Mike, you are awesome. I will always recommend this team 100%. Thank you Team Truepenny!!!!
