Had a poor experience with Tim Russ. Our offer on a property was accepted but we were told by the Tim Russ estate agent that they wouldn't take the property off the market since the owners hadn't found their next property to move to yet. However, a week later, another person put in a higher offer on the property, and this was accepted and they took it straight off the Market, even though the owners still hadn't found their next house to move to. We were frustrated and disappointed at having been gazumped and lied to.

We bought our house last year through Tim Russ. We were really impressed with them and would definitely use them if we were to ever sell our house (not that we plan to - we love it!). They were particularly impressive during the period between our offer being accepted and exchange - in particular Adrian, our main point of contact. They liaised with our mortgage providers and solicitors throughout and kept us and the sellers informed throughout. They did more than we would expect of an estate agent and really helped to keep things moving and get over the line. They were also really helpful when we were looking for a house, before we found the place we ultimately bought. They were very professional and fair to all parties and we felt like we knew where we stood at all times. Very happy to recommend.

Thank you Dan Crawley! Buying and selling is stressful and full of high and low emotions (ours certainly was). This is why it is important to ensure that you use an estate agent that understands this and also has the ability to communicate affectively to help settle the nerves. Our sale was originally on the market with YOPA (online estate agent), this started off well until we realised our local YOPA representative didn't know how to make or return a phone call. We had many viewings and had to nag and nag him for feedback. We eventually found a buyer and we found a house to purchase. We then lost our buyer, in turn losing our purchase. We now knew Dan's professional, honest approach through our purchase that fell through, he offered to get some fresh photos taken and to see if he could find us a buyer. By now we were fed up with YOPA, so we said yes. Christmas came and went, January hit with new viewings, one of which was our buyer. Dan gave us great feedback on the buyers current position and opinion on the property. They made an offer the next day, Dan set the sale price expectations with them at the viewing and stood by that throughout the negotiation. Throughout the process and because of our previous experience we were nervous our new buyer would pull out. Dan was always in communication with all parties in the chain, keeping the sale and our new purchase (with different estate agent) going through as fast and smoothly as possible. But most importantly for us, he was keeping us up to date and our nerves in check. I would very much recommend Dan and the team and Tim Russ. Thank you

I would highly recommend Dan Crawley and the team at Tim Russ. As a first time buyer the process was daunting, but Dan's professional and honest approach made it so much easier. We viewed a few properties before viewing our property, and it was a lovely surprise to have such a knowledgeable agent who could answer all of our questions about the property. Dan was also extremely helpful in answering our other questions about the process in general - no question was too stupid! Dan was extremely responsive and made regular contact with us and the vendors throughout, and put our minds at rest when we were having difficulties getting information from our solicitors. We decided to instruct Tim Russ & Co for the sale of our property as the staff were approachable, professional and friendly with competitive fees. We definitely made the right decision as the service we received was excellent. From finding us a buyer fairly quickly in a challenging market to the problem solving and negotiation involved in enabling the chain to stay together when it fell apart after 2 months! The communication throughout was always open and response timely. Particular thanks to Dan, Ed and Dominic the branch manager who was incredible when he stepped up to manage the complexities towards the end of our sale and even assisted in managing the negotiations of the property we were purchasing through a different estate agent! I 100% recommend Tim Russ & Company, Hazlemere. My property was in a niche market so relatively few viewings. I had actually moved away from the area but visited monthly. I always made a point of calling in to chat with Dennis and Jo who always remained positive about finding s buyer....... and sure enough eventually they did - with no chain! Perfect! Jo expertly managed the negotiations and I was happy with the outcome. From sale agreed to exchange was a lengthy process mainly due to the mortgage process but at all times Jo was ontop of it all- pushing solicitors, requesting timelines chivvying everyone along and certainly kept me fully informed. It has certainly been an incredible journey and Jo has always been positive throughout..... and nothing seemed too much trouble! I have no hesitation in saying they are the best estate agents I have used.
