I have been renting my property with Tay Letting for the last 4 years since moving overseas. It has been a smooth, relatively stress free experience the whole time. Tay Letting have always managed the advertising, tenant approval process, credit checking and the entire rental period. Any issues were always reported to me immediately with discussion around how to proceed with the management. They have always kept in touch with me regarding any maintenance and inspection results. Malcolm Pickard took on the management of a large property I own in Fife around 9 months ago. We are renovating the property and I am based overseas. Malcolm and team have gone the extra mile to both look after the property and project manage the renovations. Truly a professional services with a personal touch/attention to detail. The team own problems and get the job done, they are proactive in thinking what needs to be done, they manage contractors and service providers well to ensure quality work at a fair price. Malcolm Pickard and his team took on board the management of our Edinburgh property after we had all sorts of issues with our existing management agent. Since then the difference has been like night and day. Our new agents, Tay Letting East, are responsive, engaged and finely attuned to our needs and concerns. It is a management and letting agent which offers a very personal touch. I particularly like Malcolm's engagement and enthusiasm; for him no problem is too small. Very nice and laid back when you move in... then really strict and unfriendly when you move out. Make sure you note every single defect on your inventory, they will make you pay for anything they can. I have rented with lots of agencies and I have found this company to be the worst.
