GoogleA poor poor company, staff are young and haven't got a clue what they are doing, the level of service you receive is just a mess, don't use this awful estate agent if you're a serious landlord.

GoogleUsed this company to rent out then sell my flat and the service is great. They always respond quickly to any queries I had. I would definitely recommend them!

GoogleI booked a viewing with this agency. Day and time of the viewing were confirmed via email and via text on the same day. Due to an error in the system, they couldn't show me the property on the day and they could not re-arrange it via Skype. I couldn't come another day as I don't live there so I wasted my time and money for a viewing that did not take place. They apologised for it.

We have investigated the matter and it would appear that there was a mistake made when booking the appointment, meaning that it was booked at the wrong time. We can assure you that this was a genuine mistake and one which we deeply regret. GoogleMe and my partner lived in a property managed by starkey and brown for three years. Communication between letting agent, tenant and landlord is very below par as we had been reporting cracks in the walls that were getting bigger for 2.5 years. The landlord did come round and say, oh those cracks are coming back and don’t worry about it. Since moving out we have now been charged for those structural cracks. Also after moving out and handing the keys back to starkey and brown in May we have also been charged for rent in June. We have tried to resolve this by phoning starkey and brown to be told they won’t talk to us about this. This review is only scratching the surface of problems but we would be here all day writing an essay.

GoogleFrom the very start to the very finish Starkey&Brown were simply amazing! Frazer was extremely professional and knew exactly what he was talking about, he answered all my questions and concerns without hesitation and didnt pester me every day asking for a descion that we hadn't yet made. Once we had instructed S&B Frazer ensured all staff were aware of us coming onto the market (despite us not yet being on Rightmove) which resulted in a viewing booked by Debbie for that very weekend. In the end we didnt need rightmove as Debbie sold our house almost immediately! Amazing! After we accepted the offer Angie kept us up to date and fully informed as well as chasing our solicitors when we needed her to. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and the efficiency, professionalism and enthusiasm of every single person involved in our sale was unbelievable! Would never recommend anyone more than S&B...exceptional!!! Thank you to you all for helping us through this extremely stressful time.

GoogleToday is our moving day and it has all been really stressful apart from Starkey and Brown. Frazer took amazing photos of our house to begin with and got the price spot on (also the price I wanted for the house) and it sold within two days. Don't be fooled by the major online agent - they hugely undervalued our house on purpose. Go with these guys. They've got a great reputation for a reason and understand the local market. Big thanks also to Clare the manager for taking my calls and constant questions. Finally to Debbie, who essentially made this move happen by chasing up our solicitors constantly and always being at the end of the phone to reassure and offer advice. A brilliant team, amazing communication and a really reasonable fee. Thank you!

GoogleAfter a difficult sale with my first buyer pulling out and second buyer dragging heals, Angie kept in touch with all parties and we have finally exchanged and are able to complete on our purchase. Thanks for all the help.

GoogleI walked the whole length of Silver Street to find a home to rent and was dreading the process. The team at S&B however were from the first very friendly and helpful. They stood out. Vicky looked after me for most of the process of setting up renting the house that I liked. She was always able to answer my questions and I felt very well looked after. Billie did the deposit and key handover and explained everything clearly. The office in general has a lovely vibe and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

GoogleI have just purchased a house through a Starkey and Brown. It has not been a straight forward purchase but Anita has been absolutely amazing throughout. She explained everything to me and advised me the best she could. She contacted me frequently to update me with information and has always been available when I needed to speak to her. I really appreciate the service and support I was given.

GoogleThe service was excellent, they sold my property within a few days of the tenant vacating. Anita kept me up to date every week with what was going on which eased my mind a lot.
