TrustpilotAVOID - poor homes and rude manager
Houses were built to poor standard, I have experienced no end of problems since moving in. When I raised this, Customer care manager was incredibly rude. Such a shame as their houses are not cheap. AVOID AVOID AVOID. I wish I could go back and avoid this dreadful company!!

Concierge like to go round taking pictures of peoples balconies just for having a couple bits of washing on their, even though we are in an energy and environmental crisis. Service charge is a rip off as well. Its not great. Donβt bother. Freehold> leasehold all the way.

Positives:I think their sales and marketing team is excellent. Quality is generally reasonable tooNegatives:Unfortunately my experience with their customer care is hit-and-miss. I had one good experience where they answered my question quickly but another when I was asking about striker plate for my door which they completely ignored me. This is quite unfortunate given any goodwill built disappears the moment issues happens

Sales team & After sales team have been amazing . Lots of snagging issues that are getting resolved slowly . This is not down to sales team. Some areas of our Apartment looked rushed and not completed properly . Felt Berkeley were very dismissive with some things that we asked to have and we agreed to pay for . We love our new home but feel that some of the above issues have taken the shine off of it .

First purchase experience of a house in the UK, very customer centric experience, such a good journey from the start with lots of online communication till the physical contact of house handover. My wishes and requests were well taken care of . Good quality of property and friendly customer services. Highly recommend!

I got a fine and notice of breach of lease saying my kids playing were "playing" in the communal podium garden even though we were out the whole weekend on the date of the notice. Despite numerous attempts to speak the Rendall and Ritter to try get evidence of the incident I just get ignored. This is not a community environment which Berkeley is advertising. Conciege are also been bullied by one resident who complains about everything and the kids in our complex are too scared to even go outside because of this! I am now considering moving out and getting a freehold so my kids can have a better lifestyle.

My house burnt down, because of terrible construction, which has been proven and they refuse to take responsibility, even though I lost everything! Do not buy from these people!!!!

Excellent sales experience and good communication up to completion. I love my apartment. Some snags that have taken a while to rectify and some things, for example, EV Charging, not ready yet. Communication since completion has been variable, some people have been truly excellent, others less so. Builders onsite are very courteous and the good communicators have been very kind and helpful. The planting in the development is beautiful.
