As a journalist, it's fair to say that we have a reputation that is down the bottom - with estate agents. Sheens do not, however, deserve such a lowly reputation.Put simply, it was the most professional, most sales patter-free transaction I have ever had with an estate agents... and I have bought and sold more than 10 properties over the years.The whole team, from Rob to Leigh-Ann, from Lee and James, were always polite, helpful and, that key word again, professional.It was not the smoothest of transactions due to the bungling by my conveyancers, but Sheens was an assured presence trying to keep the sale on track, which we are now within a whisker of completing.I can scent sales spiel at a hundred paces, but from the outset, as stated above, Sheens, and Rob in particular, spoke to me like a grown up and not like someone being sold a second-hand car.A big thank you to them all and top recommendation from me!

Sheen's Estate agents in Clacton offer excellent customer service. They sold my Fathers property after he died and Sheen's have been excellent right the way through from start to finish. Always updating you by email or phone, keeping you updated. and questions answered immediately and anything you have to ask is always dealt with in a professional manner. Every member of staff was always very friendly and helpful and professional at all times. The support i was given by Sheen's was outstanding. The Manager Mr L Everitt was Absoloutely Brilliant and efficient at all times. He definately made sure that i was kept up with what was going on always so helpful and emailed me whenever there was anything i needed to know about. He certainly knows how to run a very good team of people and they always work together and work to a very high standard. Absoloutely Amazing.I Highly recommend Sheen's. from Julie

GoogleNot even worth one star! Did nothing to help my daughter move into the area. Were supposed to ring her to arrange viewings on two properties to rent -she's still waiting for the call even though she told them she only had 3 weeks on her previous tenancy and is heavily pregnant! ! She gave up in the end and found a property on her own.

If you can contact me on james@sheens.co.uk detailing which properties your daughter had asked to view along with her name I can investigate. Please be aware that sometimes when a landlord is looking for a new tenant it will sometimes be marketed before the previous tenant has left. This can in turn sometimes lead to delays in gaining access to a property so this could have been the situation on why no viewing times could be confirmed for your daughter. Apart from the fact that they found us a buyer within days of us registering with them, they were great with communication, friendly and extremely professional all the way through the process. Trying to sell whilst living abroad isn't usually easy, but Sheens made it straightforward and stress-free. We are so glad that we chose them.

Sheen's of Clacton really are fantastic. Their outstanding staff are knowledgable and efficient, friendly, supportive and patient. Recently returned from many years living in South Africa, we were total novices to the UK process of house purchase. Gary in Clacton answered our every question and got back to us quickly with answers to our queries. And finally when on our way to their office to take transfer, we were unlucky enough to drop our car keys down a storm drain right outside the office, Lee phoned every council department he could think of for assistance (without success) but managed to contact their own handy-man to come to our rescue with a very large and powerful magnet. Truly going beyond the call of duty! Thank you to all of the staff in Clacton office - you are the very best !! Noel and Ruth
