GooglePLEASE READ CAREFULLY!! Unfortunately I’ve had the worst experience with this agent. Took a holding deposit for the sale of my flat, did not check if the buyers had a mortgage beforehand. Got me to give my tenant notice as the buyer wanted vacant possession. Months and months of chasing nothing, no movement from the buyer. The holding deposit doesn’t go to the seller it goes to them. I’ve lost over £7,000 in rent and fees paid for solicitors and agent packs. Really wish I had never agreed to selling it. Real shame, im sure they are a good bunch of people but for me I needed to sell a flat and they did not achieve this.

GoogleCo-operative staffs with very efficient receptionist. Always ready to help. Able to buy property with good support of Pav and Dave. Special thanks both of you and your entire team. I gave 4 star only because of solicitors as they are very slow in process and communication. Due to lack of communications I waited almost 6 months to complete my purchase. Highly recommended !

GoogleI had a very bad experience with this agency.. Would not recommend it. They don't give your deposits back when you are leaving the property.. They deduct some amount and put new things in the property. Very poor serviceNegativeQuality
Hi Milburn, I am surprised to hear you have had a bad experience with Shaw and co. You have been a tenant of ours since 2019, and during this period you moved twice. I would like to remind you, as you well know, all deposits are protected and it is not down to Shaw and co, to decide what is deducted. On this occasion your landlord has decided to make deductions for some damages in the bathroom. We have tried to negotiate between yourself and the landlord, which has been unsuccessful. We have now advised you to take this up as a dispute with the deposit protection service, which is the correct procedure thereafter. This process is now out of our control.
