Our house move was seriously delayed due to very poor communication below us in the chain and misinformation. Seymours gave us false hope of an exchange date several times which led to significant uncertainty and stress. On moving day Chris congratulated our buyer with a bottle in front of us and then would have to proceeded to ignore us had I not spoken to him first. We had sold our home with another estate agent and had a property we were buying. Unfortunately the initial sale on our property fell through. We contacted Seymours, Addlestone and asked them to support the relisting of our property, explaining we had time constraints as we needed to sell ASAP so we could still purchase our onward home. Early on in the process we were disappointed to lose several buyers, one close to the exchange date. However it became apparent this was owing to the chaotic nature of the market caused by the stamp duty deadlines. Initially we were passed between a number of different Seymour representatives but once we were assigned a single point of contact (Josh) we had an excellent experience. Josh worked tirelessly to see the exchange through to completion. He was always good humoured, honest and went above and beyond to ensure everyone in the chain was chased up regularly to keep the process moving.
